Lipotrim is a low calorie formula(a bit like milkshake) which you mix with water to your desired consistency.You can chose from Strawberry,Chocolate,Vanilla or Chicken soup or two types of cereal bar(peanut and coconut)but these are absolutely horrid.Men are issued with 14 sachets/week(two/day) and Women 21(three/day) these are only 40g each and the men's 76g each.You are normally accepted onto the programme if your BMI is 28 or above.You must also drink at least 2litres of water per day.You are also allowed coffee(black,no sugar,sweeteners are okay)and the same with tea.

Lipotrim participating stores/pharmacys can be found online-Just enter your postcode and do the online search.

Once accepted onto the programme after first filling in a questionaire and having a medical check,the rest is up to you!!

On average you lose about a pound/day but the first week a couple of pounds more,this is because the glycogen your body stores is attached to water and you lose this the first week as your body uses up it's reserves,then your body starts working away at your fat reserves,so you need to work out how much weight you want to lose and set your goal.

It costs £36/week for ladies and £48 for gents.

The way I look at this programme is because I have been so naughty in the past I am accepting this as a form of punishment-strange I know but it does help psychologically I suppose!

You do still feel fairly hungry most of the way through but you just need to top up with water regulary.I also had a few mild headaches early on and a few cases of lightheadedness when standing up quickly after bending down after about week three.So you need to take things a bit easier.

I gave up smoking about a year ago and can honestly say it's harder than that.

I'm male 41 and peaked at 16st 12lb and down to 15st10-1/2 after two weeks and 14st11-1/2lbs after four-Total loss so far 28-1/2lbs!!So,it really does work if you are determined as I have been and followed to the letter.

Anyone who starts this "Food replacement Programme" has to be strong willed and determined to do this,I'm quite stubborn so this helps,but the results are starting to show and although some people may look at me and think I still look big,I really feel much less fat!,and feel I am getting back some self confidence already,which is of course part of the results anyone needs.

My partner is also on the programme and has had the same results and part of the reason I have bought into this deprivation is for health reasons and so I can be more active,especially on Holiday with my 3yr old.Oh yeah and personal ego too!
