Advantages: Lose weight feel great

Disadvantages: Costs a fortune replacing your old clothes

Having been very unhappy for the last ten years with my ever increasing weight gain and having done Atkins on two previous occasions, fallen off the wagon and having put all of the weight back on again plus some, I finally decide to do Lipotrim late last year having seen the benefits to a couple of colleagues who had done it.

The first advice that I will give is plan when the best time is to start the diet and prepare yourself mentally for it. I waited until after Christmas and my birthday in January and started on the 1st Feb, knowing I had a holiday booked at the end of March. It was always my intention to do the diet solidly for seven weeks and then do maintenance before I went away, have a good time without worrying too much and then doing the diet proper again for a further 3 weeks upon our return. Things went like clockwork. I lost 2.5 stone (started off at 16 stone 10 pounds and went away at 14 stone 3 pounds!!! - I felt fantastic) before I went away and went in the Gym everyday on holiday while I was eating food to burn some of the extra calories and to develope muscle tone on my new slimmer body. I got back and lost a further 7 pounds to get down to 13 stone 10 pounds - the lightest I have been since I got married in '98!! I am now on the maintenance programme and maintaining my weight loss whilst getting fitter and more toned (I also use a Slendertone Flex everyday which has really helped my waistline and stomach definition).

True... it is very difficult at the beginning but hang in there - it gets easier. About an hour after having your shake in the evening you forget about feeling hungry and just feel great about losing weight. I would also vouch for the euphoric feelings that flow through you from time to time and you feel a million dollars with all the nutrition in the diet - I feel like a new man and my long suffering wife would certainly vouch for that!! You visit the loo less often and bad smelling wind becomes more or less a thing of the past.
Certainly blend your shakes in a blender with ice to make them more palatable. You do eventually get a bit attached to the morning and evening ritual of preparing your 'meal'

The maintenance products are also good and the bonus of these are thay they are less than half the price of the full programme.

For ANYBODY not happy with their weight who wants to feel better, stronger, healthier and more confident I would STRONGLY recommend this diet.

I am now trying to get down to 13 stone as a target weight which will be a total weight loss of 3 stone 10 pounds, with a waist size of 30-32 inch (I was a 38!!) which is fabulous - wish me luck!!!

The only draw back with Lipotrim from my perspective is the cost of having to replace your entire wardrobe.

Summary: DO IT - IT WORKS

It has to be an NU for me as this is such a dangerous diet as are all starvation diets. You would be better off eating sensibly and exercising, Susan
