Advantages: Easy to use and understand.
Disadvantages: Initial cravings and the psychosomatic nature of not eating.
Something needed to be done - 37 and just over 19 stones at 5'7", enough's enough!
Second day on Lipotrim, had a right downer in the car on the way home from work as this is traditionally the time when I think about what to cook for dinner!
However, a good coffee and watching my son eating his fish fingers and chips and all is not so bad - can't wait for my chocolate shake!!! Also good that both my wife and I are doing it together.
Issues with finding the actual products in a local pharmacy were a pain initially but finally found one where the pharmacist is simply brilliant and highly motivating. They haven't had anyone on it for ages and had no chicken soup for men but ordering it in for next week. My wife thinks it's the best one of all! Bars apparently are a no-no!
Got to admit I can't imagine the 'no hunger' state. Lots of blogs and most positive - we shall see!
Weigh in on Friday, but this is only after 4 days.
Summary: Almost drastic but comforting that gthe GP advocates it.

- 04/09/09 It would be helpful if you could tell us a bit more about what this involves, how much it costs and how you access it - remember this is a review site and not a forum! |
