Advantages: Wasn't hungry!

Disadvantages: Many trips to the bathroom to wee!!

HI, my name is Stacie and I am 41 living in the UK although I am originally from New York. I am a nurse and I have always had a busy life. Two years ago I became very ill with a disease called Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE). I have had SLE for many years but was quite well with it from my 20's onward. I served 14 years in the US Navy, raised 2 children on my own after my divorce and did everything that a mom needs to do. I remarried and in the summer of 2007 I got sick. My tendons, ligaments and muscles became inflamed and my ability to walk and function came to a halt. I was treated with many medications, all of which I am still on now except for steroids! Steroids, they worked well but they were the catalyst to my current situation, OBISITY!

Since 2007 I have gone from 9 stone to 16.5. I am 5'1 with a tiny frame. SLE destroys the connective tissues in your body along with your joints, heart, kidneys, brain, vascular system and so on and so forth. With all this extra weight I carry it only makes my ability to get around more difficult and painful. I have tried diets but because I sit around all day and watch TV (every commercial yummy food) I ate and ate and ate. I can't say I was hungry, I was just board. My doctors told me to eat homemade vegetable soup anytime I felt like eating and a healthy evening meal. I was also put on Orlistat/Zenical. Lots of veggies and this medication do not mix. You pass wind but don't dare doing so unless you are on the toilet. The smells that came from my backside were indescribable and no one would dare venture into the toilet after I had been in. Rather humiliating but we all found the humour, we had to!

Anyway, I was at the point that I no longer cared and ate anything and everything. You know things are out of control when your husband wants to go on holiday and knows the only way you would go if no one could see you. He rented a 3 bedroom private villa for the both of us with our own private pool since the kids are doing their own thing, one in University and the other 17. This private vacation cost £1700, and then I refused to go to restaurants because I thought others would judge me so we ate at the villa. Not much of a vacation for my husband who passed the time playing in the pool by himself while I hid in shorts and an extra large shirt which I may add only makes you look larger then you already are!

So, how to get the weight off? If anyone is like me, I want instant gratification. I have been trying to get on the Lipotrim diet for months now but no doctor was willing to write a letter to the pharmacy and say it was OK so Lipotrim was out of reach. I decided to finally go and explain to them that no one was willing to write a letter to say I can be on this diet but as a nurse I know all the things to look out for and if I became ill then I would come off the diet. The pharmacy finally agreed to allow me to try the diet.

Today is day 2 and in the mail this morning I finally got a letter from my SLE specialist that she couldn't see why I shouldn't try it. I guess the risk factor of being a whale vs the diet were risks the specialist was willing to take.

Last night was tough, watching the final Big Brother and every commercial was related to food and I was tired and cranky. My daughter and her boyfriend came in with Thai food and also called me earlier to see if I wanted them to bring home Krispy Kream doughnuts. Teenagers, why do they not use the gift they were given, their brain??

Anyway, here I am on day 2. I hope this works because the next step is surgery and with SLE it is a high risk. I would love to have it done and deal with the risks because it would be a heck of a lot easier then discipline. When you outweigh the risks death by indulgence or death by surgery then a bit of hard work and will power I opt for the Lipotrim choice and pray it will work!

So far I have tried the strawberry, vanilla, chocolate shake and the chicken soup. I like them. I added sage and cumin to the chicken soup and it was quite nice. This morning when I woke up I must say I didn't feel as bloated as I always do. I never got a headache but I drank lots of fluid. I must say, I hate the frequent trips to the bathroom to pee because it requires going upstairs which causes pain. Other then that I can't fault the diet. I don't feel hungry but I must admit, I felt cranky and tired last night.

Regards
Stacie

Summary: I need to give this a go for my health!

I have said this before, but might apply to you too.... I will write a review shortly about Thermoplasty, which is a Fat melting non-invasive product, that with no change to my lifestyle helped me loose 1st in a month (Course was 1 month long).I then went on honeymoon for 2 weeks (ALL Inclusive) I was up 1st on return, and that fell straight back off within 5 days all on its own, no treatment, and no change in normal home diet (so its not one of these, loose it uick, put it back on twice as fast things), all it is, is a radio waves that melt the fat, leaving the cells intacts (so you can still put fat back on if you wish later). It might be something that could help/level out your goal
