Have you ever felt that those around you don't understand what its like to be YOU? Imagine feeling like that and only being a child, being different to everyone else because you have a tube coming out of your chest, no hair or spend a lot of time in hospital?

Now imagine what its like to be surrounded by kids just like you, who aren't shocked by anything you say has happened, and who, just like you, want to have FUN.

Well Over the Wall is a place that provides just that, a holiday away from their family, away from the hospital, jam packed with activities which keep then busy from morning to night. Where medical professionals take care of medical needs just like everyone around them but in between swinging on ropes, paddling through water, running around with friends and swapping hospital stories.

A place like that exists, its Over the Wall and you can go there a couple of times a year, it doesn't cost parents anything and every child I've known who has gone there has declared it "the best week of my life"
