Peabody Trust

Peabody Trust ... urban areas across London. It is the largest charitable housing trust in the capital and is a registered housing association, providing 17,000 homes across 26 London boroughs. Unusually, it also has its own Act of Parliament, stipulating the Trust?s objectives to work solely within the London region for the relief of poverty. Peabody is now a major force in urban regeneration initiatives designing and building schemes which provide a focal point for local communities, undercutting homelessness and giving people the opportunity of decent living accommodation, with better employment, skills and community opportunities.
