I joined Slimming World a couple of months ago and it is a really healthy diet, and you can still have a treat every day. It works in a similar way to weight watchers, but whereas in weight watchers you have total number of points your allowed a day, with Slimming World you follow a diet plan but your allowed a certain number of sins a day which you can use on what you like (chocolate, alchohol, savory snacks etc)so you don't feel like your cutting anything out. You combine 2 eating plans called the 'Green plan' and the 'red plan'. At the start of the day you decide which plan you going to follow and stick to it, you can always do the other plan the next day so you dont get bored.
Each plan has 'free food' which you can eat freely, on the green plan it's things like pasta and potatoes, on the red plan things like lean meat. Your given an allowence for things like milk, cerials etc and anythin over your allowence is classed as sins. Your usually allowed between 5 and 15 sins a day. They also have a sin line you can call if your not sure of the sin value of a certain product. The diet is very simple to follow once you get into it. You can visit there website on www.slimmingworld.co.uk to find out where your nearest class is, there usually advertised in local shops and post offices and the classes are usually in church halls and other local places. Give it a go, it works.
