Slimming world is a very good diet and its all about a technique called food optmising.

You have green and Original days, you also get healthy extras and syns.

A green day all your potatoes, veg, pasta, beans are all unimited, as well as all the usual free foods, ie quorn, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, basic veg, stock, quark etc etc. With your healthy extras you can use them for meat products, milk, cheese, breads and cereals. You can then use up to 15 syns a day for anything else

A red day you get all your lean meat unlimited, then you still get all your super free foods but you have to used your healthy extras for potatoes, pasta, peas, sweetcorn and the usual cereals, breads etc. Again you get up to 15 syns.

You can eat absolutely loads on this diet, on a green day you can have eggs chips and beans for no syns what so ever!!

It really is a hunger busting diet but it takes a lot of planning and is hard to do it on a budget and still have a varied diet.

The leaders I have encounted have all been a bit dim to be honest, half of them are no where near there goal weight which I think is ridiculous to have them preaching to other slimmers when they have not got there them selfs!

The website is a invaluble tool and its great for food diarys and tracking your weight, All in all I feel its the best diet there is for good weight loss but its still a effort!! lol
