Advantages: Quick processing

Disadvantages: Not exposed correctly

Well, I couldn't wait to get my photos developed so, as you do, I took them to a certain chemist to get the 1 hour service,
no go, their equipment wasn't working they would take 3 days! Ok, quick search around the shopping precinct to find another film developers, found Supasnaps.

Went back to the pub (well, we were on honeymoon)(no flash pricey foreign fortnight for us - a week in Blackpool, but it was brill) and sat clock watching for the next hour.

"What time is it? (for the 10th time).
Right, nearly one hour, I'm off to collect be back soon" I declared to my new Hubby.

For the first time ever, I picked up the snaps and went back to the pub before having a quick look (yes, I'm normally one of those walking from the shop with a daft smile on my face nearly bumping into people in the street because I'm too busy 'gawping' at my photos).

Now, because they were from a special day, I
thought we'd sit and look at them together (soppy I know), so I got to the pub left the bag with the photos with the other half and went to change the little ones nappy (yes, I suppose you can say our daughter was the unexpected guest of honour at our wedding - not one we had expected to be there when we planned to get married a couple of years earlier, but a beautiful guest at that)got back and he said I took so much time changing her he couldn't wait any longer and had a look!

So much for me being soppy!

Anyway, to cut a long story short (bit late for that I know but....) the photos were really nice, a lot better than I expected.

I am one of those people who always looks like someone else on photographs, know what I mean? You always think "Flamin' Eck!(for want of a better expression) I don't look like that do I?

I thought that they were ok, that is until we decided to get a couple of prints done for the family.

I took them to our loc
al Boots and you would not believe the colour difference!
I sat down and compared each photo, and started to notice details in the one from Boots that weren't there on the Supasnaps ones! For instance my daughter's dress has a lace collar, you couldn't even tell that it was lace on the first lot, it just looks like a white collar. You can't see any details on the little one's face either on them, she just looks very pale. They were obviously over exposed.

The only good thing about the original ones is because they seem less detailed I look better!!!!

So, if you are considering where to get your photos developed I would consider others before Supersnaps. Ok, it could be that I chose a bad branch to go to, but 'once bitten' and all that.

could be over exposure but knowing supasnaps more than likely someone didnt bother doing a PBL (paper balance test) before printing off that roll of paper
