Newest Review: ... unravel it. At this stage the door can no longer operate until the fitters turn up. This same problem has been repeated numerous throughout my doors short life span. Every time it jammed more scratches dents. During that time Numerous call outs.. fitters blaming the previous fitters or showroom managers. Wrong parts.. They never call you back. I wouldn't wish my experience with The Garage Door Company on my worst enemy. Door fitted in december 2010 Within a few months of them fitting a roller garage door I had my first problem. The roller curtain getting stuck when it rolls up. Horrible crunching sound when it happens.. and have to manually unravel it. At this stage the door can no longer operate until the fitters turn up. Survey, price OK, 50% deposit. Door fitted three weeks later ..... EXCEPT door panels wrong size and had to bolt my old door back in place. Had access via the house but limited to what I could put in or take out of integral double garage. TEN weeks later, after letter to owner of company, many phone calls etc the panels finally fitted. Pleased with final job but still awaiting full explanation as to how it took less than three weeks to manufacture initial (wrong size) panels and nearly ten weeks for correct ones. Paid most of the balance and waiting to see what discount they are going to offer for inefficiency and inconvenience. Fitters said mine was not the only problem !!!!!

I recently had a door fitted by The garage door company. Their customer service was shocking. Once they have your deposit they couldn't care less. I had weeks of phoning them trying to get the door fitted, info changed every time and their manner was disgusting. The door was finally fitted, but I don't need such appalling customer service when there are plenty of other companies to use. The stress and wasted time they caused I can't describe in words!

I recently had a door fitted by The garage door company . And my advice is keep away from this company , once they have your deposit they couldn't care less... They use the old selling style where the salesman tells the customer that if they order and pay half today they get the Garrage door at a discounted price ( yes people still fall for that old trick ) then you have weeks of phoneing them trying to get your doors fitted , my advice . bad ccompany keep well away ...

Poor service from this company. failed to turn up for 2 appointments and didnt bother to call me about it either. its now been 5 weeks and they still havent been to fix the doors. Ive already paid a deposit.I Spoke to the customer service manager who just hid behind terms and conditions so was less than helpful.they did however offer me a free service or weather strip as compensation but i didnt need any of these things.
