Advantages: prompt shipping
Disadvantages: tried to charge for a repair which was not necessary before I sent iPod
I've had an unfortunate experience with this company. I don't know whether the problems were anyone's fault or just bad luck, so I'll lay out what happened and let everyone judge for themselves.
I sent in an iPod Nano for a battery replacement; I was able to listen to it on the way to the post office. They sent an email that they'd received it, and the next day a confirmation that they'd received payment.
Seven days later, they let me know that they were waiting on a part. Three days after that, they found a second fault with the iPod and told me that it would not work unless the second fault was repaired at a higher cost than the original battery replacement. As I knew that the iPod was working when I sent it, I asked for information to pursue a claim with Royal Mail for the repair. The company graciously informed me that this second repair was already made, so to save hassle they would simply return it in working order, which they did promptly.
I am now testing out the new battery to see how much the replacement helped; the iPod is definitely working.
Summary: I would not use this company again, but I may have just had bad luck

- 08/10/09 I've just got my iPhone back form these guys posted it Monday and it was back in my hands on Wednesday! I think you jusr had bad luck? saying that they did only charge you for a battery as requested didn't they? sounds like a mix up to me, I would highly recommend them |
