Disadvantages: Can get boring and predictable

After I had my first baby, I had gained a lot of weight and was desperate to lose it. Of course I had heard of Weight Watchers, but had never tried it, and one evening I was dragged off to a meeting.
When we entered, there were tables set out with many Weight Watchers, from recipie books to calculators, to sugar free boiled sweets.
The lady running the meeting was lovely, helped me register and made me feel at ease. Then came the bit I was dreading - the scales!! I was worried somebody else would see my weight, but found the scales were moved, and people waiting to be weighed were asked to stand back so they didnt see anyone elses weights. She discreetly recorded my weight, and didnt make me feel like an overweight lump!
I managed to stick with Weight Watchers for about a month, before I grew bored of the diet. I found myself getting bored of constantly checking the points value of everything I ate, and often found myself still hungry in the evening.
In that month though, I still lost half a stone, so it was slowly working.
I would say if you are determined and want to lose the weight, Weight Watchers will work for you.
