I've been overweight since I was a kid and I've tried all of them. For my money Weight Watchers is the worst! You get weighed in then hang around for ages waiting for the usually very boring lecture. I've been to two different classes and both instructors were patronising and boring. Saying things like "whose been naughty and had too much alcohol this week" does not inspire me or my friends.

The diet is easy to follow and you can get results but you pay good money for something which you could easily devise yourself. The lectures are rarely useful and not worth hanging around for. If you don't stay for the lecture you have just paid a lot of money to be weighed, you'd be better off buying a good set of scales and some slimming magazines.
