Ive being doing the weight watchers plan for what seems like for ever!
I actually was really scared when I started because I had so much to lose but now a year on I have lost just over 2 stone, I still have a fair bit to lose but it feels like im half way up the mountain now rather then at the bottom of the mountain!
I am also quite aware that a lot of people could lose two stone within like 3 months if not less but im still blissfully happy with my loss because although I have made effort to lose the weight I have also had quite a good time doing it, I mean the current plan is called the discover plan and when you start it you get a set amount of points which are worked out by your, height, weight and age and all the food points are worked out on the sat. fat and the calories contents.
Therefore you can eat whatever food you want as long as the food points are within your points allowance and then you will still lose weight! good eh!
This also means that you could save a few of your daily points by eating extra healthily and then the next day you could use what youve saved for a treat like ice cream or something. This is really good because it means you can plan around your points if you want to go out or something.
As I have already said previously it has taken me a while to lose the weight I have lost but I wouldnt change it for the world and I am positive if you did it and had more determination to stick to it strictly you would probably lose the weight faster.
I would also like to say that weight watchers is not a diet its a lifestyle change which is another reason why i dont mind thats it taken me so long.
One of the bad things about weight watchers is that it can be fairly pricey around £5 per week if you go to meetings but once you have reached a healthy weight you will get weighed for free rather then having to pay which is a good incentive to keep you going.
Summary: all in all a good plan if you put the effort in
