A good way to lose weight

Advantages: gets the bulk of the weight off.
Disadvantages: doesn't change your eating habits
I have been following the weight watchers diet now for 5 months and in that time I have managed to lose just over 2 stone.
I have found the diet reasonably easy to follow as you can still eat everything you want but in smaller portions. I have to say I do not like any of the weight watcher meals and the bread ohhhh the bread if thats what you can call it more like a thin sponge which you can not butter as it rips the so called bread apart. The weight watchers diet has been around since the 1960's and is based really on portion control, calories and saturated fat. They have a handy little calculator you can take shopping with you to find out how many points different food types are but beware you do get some funny looks!!
The thing which annoyed me is when I exercised I but weight on but when I sat on my bum all day I lost weight so it doesnt seem to encourage you to get fit.
Something that is off putting to me and I am sure many other men, is the fact when you go the meetings it is mainly women or in my case there is only me and one other guy!
It is a good diet to shift the weight off but not for maintaining the weight loss after you stop going.
It costs £5.50 a week and is world wide so they say you can still weigh in when you go on holiday although im sure there are not many people who actually do this. They also do special discounted offers if you are a monthly pass member which allows you to use limited access on the Weight Watchers website, but this has to be paid by direct debit. If you do sign up for the monthly membership you get a free goody bag which contains:-
an eating out guide
a shopping guide
a weekly food diary.
I would recommend anyone who wants a quick fix kind of diet to try weight watchers but anyone who would like to know more about foods which you should be eating and foods which you should avoid I personally do not think this is the diet for you.
Summary: good diet just dont eat their food!!
