Advantages: No club to have to visit...
Disadvantages: Can't order online so have to wait three weeks.
My clothes were getting tighter, and I was blaming the dress manufacturers for skimping on the material! No! I was putting on weight, and not very happy about it at all.
I went to www.weightwatchers.com to see what they had to offer. A very easy site to navigate, and I found myself on the page that invited me to order the WW '123 SUCCESS 2000' for forty pounds. Well, a weekly visit to a WW club in a village hall, to get weighed in front of strangers, costs well over a fiver a time.
I was very surprised to find I couldn't order online, but only by 'phone. I see no point in having a website selling products, with no e-mail contact address. Do you?
I phoned, only to be told that the wait was three weeks!A girl can eat a lot of chocolate and chips in three weeks!
It was worth the wait!
The CD Rom is your own virtual slimming club. With my secure password entered, I put all my details, such as height, weight, measurements, sex, age, foody fads into the database, and was told by Freddie the Fork (yes! just like the Office Assistant) how many points, which represent foods, I could have per day....including white wine. Well, twenty points is ten glasses of wine and a couple of carrots!

My partner has been eating the recipes and hasn't even realised, lost weight and why not? I too have gone down to a size and a bit smaller, am never hungry and thoroughly enjoy my meals without feeling deprived or restricted.

It's £40.00 well spent, to ensure a healthier lifestyle and reduce weight, without having to go to those awful soul exposing meetings.

- 10/08/00 Lamorna me too. I have read manythings about many subjects. I always try to rate as if I know nothing! (shhh you) about the subject so that my rating hopefully will be unbiased. I ahve read alot on variuos subjects that you describe too that I wouldnt know dit squaddly about, but have thought that they are v usefull to others. With regards to the tactical rating I think this may be true as I think this has been done to me too. Oh well, not to worry at least you are safe in the knowledge that there are many here who really do appreciate your opinions, and that has got to be worth mroe than the 25p or whatever it is that they have given you. Its a shame people havent got the guts to say why they rated it that way isnt it? |
