Heinz in conjunction with Weight Watchers have a range of frozen ready meals which are calorie counted and have points values for those following the weight watchers plan. I have tried a number of these meals and have been unimpressed, especially in comparison with other manufacturers of health conscious/diet foods. I've found the meals lack flavour and the portions are not generous for the amount of calories they provide - too many calories for too little food. I found their Chicken Tikka Masala had a sweetener after taste and left the carton it was in an illuminous shade of yellow which makes me wonder just what food colourings they were putting in! The meals are not appetizing to look at. The average price, unless on offer, seems to be £1.69 - £2 and I don't think this represents good value for what you're getting. The can be microwaved or oven cooked but on the whole I'd say leave this in the shop freezer and look elsewhere.
