Advantages: Weekly meetings, weight loss

Disadvantages: expensive, hungry all the time, hard to stick to

I've tried Weight Watchers several times over the years, and yes I did lose some weight, but I was always hungry.

Certainly going to weekly meetings helps motivate you, but you don't get much personal attention from the consultant, and very little from the other members. I found that the format of the classes tended to be repeated every so many weeks, making it quite boring. Also the meetings were really just sales opportunities for Heinz. Is it really fair to make MORE PROFITS FOR HEINZ out of people who genuinely need to lose weight?
