	Thomson DTI 6300 ... my last freeview box gave up the fight, I was faced with a decision buy another cheap one or buy a box that would actually record TV for me and I could pause and rewind TV I was watching. I did my research, I looked at lots of reviews and then I went for what I could afford. The menu is easy to use and the TV Guide has a 14 day preview but usually only shows programmes about 10 days ahead. It allows you to choose which you would like to record, and if you sign up for the extra channels on top up TV it will record them all automatically for you, so you can choose from many to see which ones to watch. 	Top Up TV ... up tv is a great add-on for between 10-15 pound a month you can choose to receive premium content/channels that include comedy, sci-fi, documentory etc. the service downloaded content to your top up tv recorder allowing you to watch shows just as you would a dvd on top of that you receive all the usual freeview channels with the advantages of being able to pause live tv & record one channel while watching another., i currently subscribe to tv favorites & picturebox which gives me around 30 movies a month to watch as & when i want to., you can also record your favorite shows with the built-in programme guide which is really easy to use., from getting it out... 	Digihome DTR160 ... you haven t got one of these digital TV recorders I strongly recommend that you get one as soon as; you don t know what you are missing. Did I say missing? There is no need to miss anything any more, any of your favourite TV programs that is. Why is that, did I hear you say? It s simple. The Digihome DTR160 has a hard disc (think of your computer hard disc, same thing) and in this model the disc has a capacity of 160Gb which equals 80 hours or more of TV recording; the DTR80 is the little brother of this and the DTR250 the big brother; I leave you to figure out the hard disc size for these models.
