With the DVB-T (digital video broadcast terrestrial) the change over to digital TVs in Germany has definitely started. It goes without saying that with the DTR 2420 a DVB-T receiver GRUNDIG also offers the reception of terrestrial digital TVs. It provides the customers with a lot of comfort, for example, the continually dynamic evaluation of the program attending data, which is very important regarding the reception of regional programs. The GRUNDIG receiver also offers the access to a program list with program attending information in form of an EPG (electronic program guide) as well as a program overview for more than one day (depending on the station).

The VPS signals are transferred as usual and therewith the connected video recorder controlled as accustomed. Also teletext and sub titles are receipted and transferred to the TV. Actual picture- and sound formats such as 4: 3 or 16: 9 as well as the second language, when running with triple tone, are automatically adjusted by the TV set.

The GRUNDIG receiver DTR 2420 is provided with an automatically and fast station search function in a simple way to handle. For active antennas, a 5-volt supply is included. This receiver offers also future security due to the possibility to run software updates over the antenna.
