This satellite receiver gives an excellent picture. The remote control needs to be pointed to the receiver with more care than usually, but it is workable. Further hardware seems good. The major problem is the errors in the software (version May 2008). Sometimes the external disk is not recognized and more often the files on the disk cannot be found. (in that case the receiver hangs up and cannot be used even for receiving). Lots of other problems turn op occasionally.
