I own the Singer Silver2 Iron steam press since August 2007. I decided to buy an iron press, because i could not iron the sheets with the ironing system that i have. When i tried to iron using the press, i became very disappointed. I had payed 500 euros to not be able to iron the sheets again!
It can not iron the sheets from all the sides, as the advertise promises, except if the sheet is wet. So i decided to call the company in order to teach me how to use the press. They sent a woman for this reason, but when i gave her to iron a sheet, she could not accomplish it. Also she said that the press had no mechanical problem and that i have to turn the sheet from all sides in order to iron it like the photos presented in the press accompanying DVD.
The device is very useful to the other clothes, because i can now finish the ironing faster. Also i can iron the towels folded as I place them in the wardrobe, so i can put them in the press in couples in order to save time.
An other advantage is that it can iron in the same time the two sides of the clothes like blouses.
I propose to think what you want to iron before buy such a device.
Power: 2400 Watts / Automatic shutoff / Adjustable steam.
