A Gothic night of mysterious beauty

This scent is quite stunning, and takes a few wears to truly appreciate it.

It's name "night" definitely ring true, as it is a dark, smoky, and almost seductive scent. It could be gothic in it's ability to transport you to a night full of mystery.

On applying this I immediately thought of a few things. Standing on a lonely hilltop at night, in the distance below there is an old church with a glowing candle flickering in the window. Just to the side of the church is a dark and silent woodland. The Moon is glowing brightly above, and there is a fire burning nearby, with the smoke drifting through the ghostly air. A woman approaches you wearing all black. She whispers something in your ear and then vanishes. Maybe this is a fragrance that has echoes of ghosts? Something that stirrs in it, a darkness, somberness, a winters chill.

I would say that this fragrance is best suited for a cold winters night. It is a walk through a churchyard in winter, a walk through a dark gothic street as the snow is softly falling. It will certainly gather compliments, because it is so mysterious and smoky.

If I had named this I would have called it "Ghostly Night" or "The Woman in Black" after the film. My girfreind loves this fragrance and after buying it because she loved it, I too have now fallen in love.

It's not a fragrance, it's an emotion and a place; A Gothic night of mysterious beauty.

      Fresh and unique aftershave

I recently brought this after I wanted to try something different from my usual brand of aftershave.
I did a bit of research in the shop and I quite liked the smell of this certain one. I haven't smelt anything like it before, it was really unique. It smells like a sweet oak sort of thing.

      -- Price / Value for money --
This cost me around £35 for a 100 ML size bottle. It seems quite expensive compared to other brands on the market. But this as something extra what the others don't. I usually love getting a bargain and it's very rare I spend a lot of money on something where alternatives are a lot cheaper. But, if you compared this certain aftershave with a £20 one, you could tell the difference a mile off. This has a certain quality about it which you can't find in the other products. I think it's value for money as a lot of the cheaper brands, you need to use a lot to get a decent smell out of them. But for this one, I found that only a few sprays are needed after shaving to give good results.

-- Where it was made --
Browsing through a lot of other aftershaves I found that many of them were made in China or other far eastern countries. I'm not sure if this is why they were cheaper, but I feel better in myself If I purchase something which was made in the UK (like this product). It also seems more care was put into this certain aftershave than other products on the same shelf.

-- How long did it last --
Well, I've only had it for about a month so far. But I've only used around 10% of the spray. I don't use it everyday, I mainly only use it if I'm going out somewhere special. It seems a waste if you're just using this to go shopping or popping out in. I hope to get 6 months out of it.

      -- Any disadvantages? --
It's probably one of the only products where I can't think of any disadvantages. I love everything about it. Yes, it's quite expensive but like I said before, If you want quality you're going to have to pay for it. This might sound biased, but this is my personal opinion.

-- What age group is it suited for? --
I'm 23 and I think it suits my age group very well. Although I can see this suiting any age group from the age of 20 - 70 + . If your into going to nightclubs, I wouldn't advise you to use this. Use it for something a bit more classier. Something like a nice bar or if you're going to dinner somewhere. If your looking for a birthday gift for your parter or even your dad. They'll be very pleased with this product.

      -- Overall --
Overall I think it's faultless. It's nice to look at and it's even nicer to smell. I would recommend this to any male looking for a fresh, unique smell. There's nothing quite like it on the market. I'm going to give it a 10/10
