King of shaves is a brand I am aware of due to the fact that an ex fiancé of mine (from a very long time ago lol) was a real fan of the range. However it isn't a range directed at women so personally I've never bothered really looking at the range with any great interest until recently....
I tend to use mens razors more often than not. I get very thick hair growing on my legs and I hate trying to remove hair with a flimsy razor that may look very pretty and have pretty smelling strips on them etc but I blunt them fast and generally find them to not do a very good job so I like one's with changeable heads and find that a mens razor is better at the jobs I do!
Walking around Asda I spotted a stand filled with these new razors. At a pound a time and remembering how much my ex liked the brand I popped a couple in my trolley to try out!
The razor comes on a black card backing and the razor, you can see through to as it has a plastic hard covering over it so you can see what your purchasing. On the front of the card I'm told that it is 'New', King Of Shaves, Azor System Razor that has a unique flexible hinge, shaves better because it bends, has a 4-blade shaving surface and an ergonomic handle and that it comes with 1 endurium cartridge. On the back of the card other information given includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it (the directions given are telling a man how to shave his face lol), I'm told about other products from within the range, ingredients are listed (for the strips that are on the blade) and contact details for The King Of Shaves Company are listed. It's nice enough and informative packaging and easy to open up etc.
A Bit About The Product According To The Information Given On The Packaging:
The Azor is no ordinary razor. As easy on the eye as it is on your face, thanks in no small part to great design and its unique flexible head innovation that ensures constant contact between blade and skin. Call it the 'Technology of bendology', or simply better.
Well the razor is black and white and made from very light plastic. Slim handled with the blade to the top of it you can buy replacement heads for this if so desired. The blade of course is stainless steel with four blades closely set and a very white thin strip of what I assume is something like aloe Vera to the top of it and to the bottom of the blade it has a piece of white plastic which acts as a safety guard when in use.
Using this is amazing and I love this razor, well not only do I but I went out and bought my mate one for her hairy pits and legs she's always moaning about and she's a real fan of it too and so now we're both faithful followers!
I tend to shave far too often. I'm really prone to cutting my legs and/or giving myself a shaving rash but with this, even though I have shaved my bits and bobs daily with the same blade for over 2 weeks now have not once damaged myself in any way shape or form!
It gives a really smooth and comfortable shave. It gently bends and simply glides over my skin and I can even shave myself with no lather if I so desired, it's that gentle! It's truly amazing! Not only that although I have used the same blade on coarse hair (my hair grows really fast!) daily for a couple of weeks now it really hasn't blunted at all! It's amazing value for money this one!
Use it anywhere you like, this seriously isn't just one for the boys. If you want a razor that looks nice, takes replacement cartridges and gives mighty fine results give it a go you won't be disappointed I'm sure. My bits I'm shaving really do become hair free with ease and for longer as it offers such a close but still safe shave! I can only give this 5 out of 5...how gutting! Brilliance
Available in all good chemists and supermarkets etc at about £4.99 a razor (if not on offer!).
