      Disadvantages

      It's ok!

When I was in Morrisons mooching about I had nothing in mind to purchase and came across this new range of products to do with ladies shaving and the packaging of this was so nice and I felt I was getting something nice for £1.36 and I was really wanting to try it out! I shave my legs and bits and bobs almost daily as my hair grows through coarse and fast and I hate stubble! However as well as that I do find that my skin can get a little dry and fancied a product that contains aloe to help smooth and soften my skin.

      The Packaging:

Long cylinder cream coloured can with a matching coloured see-through domed lid that securely fits over a large white push button dispenser. On the front of the can there is a pinkish coloured heart on there that's rather feminine looking and I'm told it is Morrisons Ladies Shaving Gel 'Chique' Sensitive and that it contains Aloe. On the back of the can other information includes being told a bit about the product, ingredients and directions for use are given, warnings and storage advice is also given, the size is stated which is 200ml and contact details for Morrisons are listed. Like I said at the top of this review it is a lovely looking can and that's what attracted my attention to it.

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Can:

Morrisons sensitive shaving gel has been specially formulated to transform into a rich extra creamy lather for a comfortable, smooth, close shave. Skin caring aloe vera helps to care for sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested. For a performance shave use with Morrisons System Razors.

      Using It:

Well we're told to wet skin and dispense required amount onto fingertips and then gently massage onto the skin to produce a lather and then you use a razor over it.

What you dispense is a very light green gel that almost as soon as you get some onto your fingertips it foams up into a creamy looking lather. Massage it into the skin and it lathers up very quickly into a rather soft feeling foam. It has a gently aloe vera smell and if your not familiar with that fragrance it simply smells of plants really but nothing major.

When on the skin it feels soft and gently moisturising and of course as I have said you then shave away. The razor glides over it very well and personally whilst using this I haven't cut or grazed myself and have found that razors glides with ease. It rinses off with ease too and then of course you pat dry and it's job done!

      Verdict:

Well whilst it serves a purpose in making it easy for me to shave and I never got cut up, that's where it did it's job and gave me no more. My legs didn't feel more moisturised and I certainly never felt smoother as I never got a closer shave than at any other time! There was no smell left behind or anything either.

It's easy enough to use and yep use this safely instead of soap or whatever but don't expect it to give any extra benefits cos for me it just didn't! It's ok though and did me no harm and it is cheaper than a few more known brands and does much the same job really!

      Only available in Morrisons stores.
