I have spent so much money in the past on shaving products and never found a decent shaving foam or gel until I found this Nivea shaving gel for men.
What first drew my attention to this product was the fact it was made by Nivea who I have had good experiences with before and the fact it was down in price at the time so I always try the more expensive brands when the offers are around.
The bottle is a nice can with the logo on Nivea on the front and some information concerning the gel inside and the lid is a see through one which pops off very easily.
The way the product comes out is by pressing down gently on the top of the bottle and out comes a small amount of gel which is green in colour.
So far it sounds good and to be pretty honest it is because the amount of gel you need is very little as well. I usually put on about a fingertip amount and this is then lathered up in my hands and manages to cover my entire face ready for a shave.
The product seems to gather energy when you rub your hands that small little amount manages to turn into plenty gel for your face. It feels cool and has a slight smell which is refreshing.
You then begin the shaving process but to be honest it is fantastic. My razor does not like thick shaving gel it seems to get upset with them but because this gel is so light and thin when applied to the face the razor glides through it and makes a great shave.
The product is easy to get out of the razor as well because one shake in water and it has disappeared and the reason for me that is good recently a company's very own branded shaving gel was not coming out my razor so it took forever to get it out.
The way this product feels and smells adds to the confidence you have with the product and yes it can be expensive for a can of this product you do not have to get a new can for a long time. I shave about 5 times a week except weekends and I have managed to have this can currently for 3 months which is a long time in my view.
If people want to know about beards I did grow a moustache during November for a charity event and it managed to get rid of this with no problems and it doesn't seem to pull at your hairs either. Some shaving foams and gels when you shave can pull the hair out rather than let you shave it off.
In my view for the price you pay which can range from £3 to £4 this is a great value for money product and one I would recommend to anybody. I usually get mine from Tesco and will continue to purchase this gel from now on.
