“ Brand: Select / Type: Court Shoes „
*When I suggested this as a product I did actually say in various colours as the shoes I own are the same but bright red so that is what my review will be based on.*
Even though I cant walk 5 minutes in the things I do own and wear a LOT of stilettos and heels mainly for when I go clubbing and that means I do have a slight addiction to shoes - think Carrie Bradshaw on a budget! But I have wanted a pair of bright red heels for as long as I can remember but I could never find any that I really liked until I saw these " Toe Patent Court Shoes" in Select a few weeks ago and decided to buy them there and then. The fact that they were on sale for £5 was just an added bonus because I fell in love with these as soon as I saw them.
Price: Was £14 Now £5
Shades: Coral, Almond, Red & Grey - The ones I could find on the website however there may be a wider choice in store.
Appearance wise I really do love these shoes. They are bright, eye catching and appear to be really well made - shocking for the price I think. Ive had some patent shoes in the past that were made from the same rubbery kind of material that these are and a after a few hours of wearing them they went really funny - like they had melted but luckily I didn't have that problem at all with these. I guess they could be worn for day wear if you do wear heels quite a lot but I prefer to stick with them for a night out and they do look great with loads of different outfits and colours.
I cant find exactly how large the heel is on these shoes anywhere on the website but Id guess they are about 5 inches which is probably average heel length for shoes like this. Surprisingly though they are quite comfortable and that is coming from someone who CANNOT walk in heels to save her life. They are pretty easy to walk, dance in for short amounts of time but if your used to wearing this kind of shoes you will have no problem keeping them on all night long - I must admit though mine do come off on occasions as all my friends will tell you!
I do have one very slight problem and that is that these do scuff quite easily particularly on the heel itself. I know that it is just general wear and tear but after one night there is bits missing from the colour on mine and although you wouldn't be able to tell just by looking I know its there so that annoyed me slightly but I guess for £5 I really cannot complain because I really love everything else about them.
So I guess I do recommend them as they are cheap, really nice looking, bright, quite comfy and easy to walk in for a while anyway so if your looking for some new heels this is a great pair to buy and they wont break the bank! I do recommend whether your a heel junkie or a stiletto virgin! Thanks for reading.
