~*~*~ Asda George Bow Detail Faux Fur Slippers ~*~*~

~ What are they? ~

These are a lovely pair of slip on type slippers with a cute bow detail on the outer edge of each one, the insides are covered in a white fluffy material that keeps your feet nice and warm.

~ Why I chose them ~

I am a sucker for slippers because I like my feet to be nice and warm and what with having laminate flooring and tiles throughout the downstairs of my home the floors are never particularly very warm, so over the last few months I really have gone a bit slipper mad after my two pairs of slipper booties gave up and split!
I have an Asda store with a large George department just up the road from me so I always have a good mooch around and always pick something up on each visit which is sometimes twice a week! A few visits back I bought these slippers simply because they caught my eye.

The outside of them is finished in a nice dark grey charcoal colour soft material and is finished off with an attractive triple bowed bow! The insides are covered in a soft white fluffy material that is incredibly comfortable and warm.

~ Sizes, availability and price ~

These slippers are available in sizes -

S (small)
M (medium)
L (large)

S is a size 3-4, M is a size 5-6 and L is a size 7-8.

I bought them in M as I I take a size 5 and have found that these offer a very good fit, they are neither too big nor too small, I also know that my mum also has the same pair and bought the same size but she takes a size 6 and they also fit her very well too.

They are available from Asda stores with a George department or online at www.direct.asda.com.

They cost a very decent £6 which I think is a bargain price for these as they look really nice.

~ Overall ~

I really like these slippers, they just slip on and off which is useful for when I want to sit with my feet up on the sofa and then need to run out to the kitchen to let the dog out!
The outside look really trendy and are versatile, I certainly don't feel the need to hide my feet when I have to answer the door!
As the colder nights have been drawing in these have certainly kept my feet nice and warm due to the soft fluffy insides. The size is perfect for me, they are not too wide and I find they nicely fit around my feet keeping them toasty.

The soles don't have much of a grip but there is enough to stop my sliding across the laminate floor, they are thin though and not rubbery so I wouldn't recommend running the rubbish out to the wheelie bin in them on a wet day!

I have popped them in the washing machine on a 30° cycle and have also popped them in the dryer and they haven't suffered any ill effects at all, in fact they came out looking like brand new. I wouldn't recommend over washing them though as the fluffiness of the insides may suffer eventually. I only washed them after I stood in puppy wee after not noticing Mookie had had an accident on the kitchen floor!

The fluff does flatten with wear at the soles of the slippers but around the feet it stays nice and fluffed up to keep my feet warm.

Overall I am very happy and impressed with these, I also know my mum is quite taken with hers too.

Thanks for reading :o) x

Summary: A really nice pair of slippers.
