George at Asda Leopard Print Peep Toe Shoes
Having been browsing George at Asda's sale online I choose a few items that took my fancy to be delivered to store. These Leopard Print Peep Toe shoes grabbed my attention instantaneously, especially when I saw their price tag! At full price these were only £10 and I managed to get them with 40 % off meaning they cost me only £6 delivered.
The Packaging
These do not come in a very appealing box or bag, nor would I expect them to for a tenner. The shoes are ones that you see hung on clips and rails in the shop, with a two black plastic hooks going into the shoes and supporting their weight on the peg. They are tied together with a string so that the shoes don't get separated and arrived in a clear plastic wrapper.
The Shoes
The shoes are the classic flat and open toe shape and are perfect for work! The base of the shoes is made of a tough rubber material and beige in colour and about 0.5cm thick. Inside the shoes the sole where your feet slip in is a fun bright pink colour, with 'Love you shoes' by George written in gold funky font across it. There is some slight padding in the insoles, with the sides of the shoes and fronting being made of a strong but flexible material that moulds to your feet. The flexibility in these shoes/pumps is great as it relieves that new shoe rubbing that you can sometimes experience with new pairs.
The entire shoe has a leopard print pattern over it which I am quite frankly obsessed with and seem to be buying all things leopard print at the moment. The pattern is quite a light coloured beige with the darker brown and black spotting/print all over. Some leopard prints can look quite tacky but this one is really nice and subtly classic. Across the peep toe front of the shoe the cross bar is curved and exposes enough of your toenails to see their colour!
The shoes have a gold linked bar across the front of them that have four connected pieces. Again this could look quite tacky but suits these shoes to a tee and all together they look a lot more expensive and good quality than they are. I doubt that I will be owning these for years to come, but as a pair of work shoes I would be happy with 6 months wear out of them on and off, and for only £6 seems like a great value product!
I think these must be the cheapest shoes I have ever purchased, I was looking for something fun and funky but practical to wear at work and these do all of the above. £6 is a bargain price for the quality and style that these leopard print peep toe shoes provide! I am very impressed and happy that I found these.
