These have the same kind of style as the Underground Creepers but are obviously a lot less expensive. I think they look really good on and actually elongate the leg which you would expect they would do the opposite but they actually slim the calves in my opinion. A downside is the sole is like a low quality foam which does make them lightweight but also quite flimsy, after wearing mine every single day for school for about 7 or 8 weeks they cracked near the front of the sole where the foot bends and it actually ruins the shoe for me. I think they look really good but if you're into the whole creeper style rather than just experimenting to see if they would suit you I would probably recommend going for the Underground Creepers because they are higher quality and would last longer, but I do think you get what you pay for.
Who would have thought that creeper shoes would ever become fashionable?! They were one of the biggest trends last year and became a craze on the high street with fashionistas desperate to snap up these stylish shoes with their added comfort factor. I remember back in my teenage goth days when I had to hunt high and low for shoes like this, and when I eventually got hold of some my mum teased me (in the hilarious way that only close family members can), saying that they looked like "special" shoes. I was super excited when the fashion for creepers caught on and they became more easily available. I've been buying them in different styles as and when I can so that I now have a nice little collection.
I just can't seem to stop myself from placing regular orders with online super-retailer www.ASOS.com. I came across these Vixon Flatform Creepers in the sales where they were reduced from the RRP of £35.00, to £17.50. They are available in women's UK sizes 3 - 8 and come in a good choice of colour options including black, polka dot print, floral print, silver metallic, black and gold studded, leopard print, and gold metallic. I kept it simple and just opted for the plain black version.

I must say that I love creepers. A lot. This particular pair have a very standard appearance and being black they are hugely versatile and can be dressed up with smarter outfits, as well as adding a fun and quirky edge to more casual outfits. They fit in really well with my usual everyday "groomed grunge" look and I wear them all the time. The shoes have a thick platform which measures in at 5cm / 2" high. This gives a nice little height boost but because they have a flatform sole they are dead easy to walk in and they are comfortable to wear all day long without the dreaded foot ache and blisters that you might get with wearing heeled shoes. I walk a lot and these shoes stay comfortable even after walking around for a full days sightseeing, and are well suited to general running around during the day when I'm out and about for work, or going shopping and getting chores done.
The shoes feature shiny silver D ring details which are bold and stand out against the black material of the shoe. The laces tie through here to do up and you're able to fasten and adjust them accordingly to get a snug fit, which is essential for anyone that has narrow feet like me, as this keeps them securely in place without any slipping around. The base of the sole is covered in a squiggly patterned tread which looks cute and provides some extra grip. Despite looking quite bulky, the platform feels like it is made of foam and as such is quite lightweight so they're not heavy to walk around in like some of my more sturdy creeper shoes are. The material has a sort of faux suede effect which I have not tested in the rain, but I would feel it's safe to say that you're best off avoiding getting the shoes wet so that the fabric is not damaged.
These Vixon Flatform Creepers by ASOS were a great investment as they are practical shoes that are comfortable to wear and add a stylish touch to even the most simple outfit. I can happily recommend them.
