      The cutest fluffiest slippers ever!

My husband bought me a pair of these Bedroom Athletics slippers for Christmas and they are just so gorgeous and cute.

They are designed to be like boots - from the base of the heel they are about 8 inches high at the back so they cover your feet, ankles and the lower part of your shin. The sole is made from soft flexible rubber, meaning that they give you enough grip to ensure your feet won't slip - even when walking on wood or laminate flooring. The sole is attached to the rest of the slipper by white herringbone style stitching - giving them an ethnic, handmade kind of look.

The slippers are made from a lovely soft fluffy fur-type of material that is a dusky pink colour. There is a narrow ribbon border just below the top hem - also pink - with the Bedroom Athletics logo repeated all the way around.

The slippers have a pink zip that runs down the centre of the ankle - approx 4 inches long - so that once you've slipped your feet inside them, you can do the zip up and completely cocoon your feet in fluffy lovelyness! The zip has a rubber tag in the shape of a girl. It is pink and spotty to co-ordinate with the rest of the slipper.

The inside of the slippers are also made from the same fluffy pink furry material. It feels absolutely divine against bare feet and really comfortable.

I suffer from awfully cold feet, but once cocooned inside these slippers my feet stay warm and toasty. I also think they look really cute - I'm not embarassed to answer the door whilst wearing them - to me they almost look like indoor Ugg boots!

The slippers are not machine washable - surface clean only. If mine were to get really mucky I would probably attempt to hand wash them - they look sturdy enough to take it.

The sizing on these boots is a little on the small size. I'm a UK size 3 and my slippers are a 3-4, but do feel a little snug. I would suggest buying a size larger if unsure.

Overall I love my Bedroom Athletic slippers!

      Slipper Bootees

When I'm at home, I like to wear slippers as I don't like walking around in bare feet and to keep my feet warm. Last Christmas I received a pair of fluffy boot type slippers, a style I'd never worn before and found them to be so cosy and comfortable. Unfortunately they didn't last very long and I soon had to buy a new pair. I found my Bedroom Athletics slippers on the Office website, and I really liked the design of them so I ordered myself a pair.

The pair I chose are a soft pink colour made from faux fur, they sit just to the bottom of my calf and have a zip on the front of them. The soles are made from contrasting pink leather and are a moccasin style.

I really like the detailing on these slippers, the bootee slippers I had before were just plain pink faux fur, but these are really nice to look at. Where the sole is stitched to the slipper you can see the stitching, and the polka dot pattern on them. Around the top of the slippers is a ribbon which co-ordinates with the colour of the slippers, there are more polka dots on the ribbon and it also says Bedroom Athletics on it. The zip comes with a pink rubber puller which is the shape of a paper doll, again with a polka dot pattern on it. The puller is clipped on so it could be removed if you wanted and used as a key ring for example.

The slippers I ordered are size 5/6, I'm a size 6 and when I tried them on my toes do go to the ends of the slippers but as they are such a soft material it isn't at all uncomfortable. I think that it just makes for a more snug and cosy fit, which is fantastic now the weather is getting colder.

I have a really bad habit of being too lazy to change into shoes if I need to pop outside to the bins or it's time to feed the rabbits. This means that quite often I have worn these slippers outside (my Mum tells me this defies the point of slippers) but despite the soles getting grubby, it hasn't ruined the slippers at all.
These can be washed in the machine at 30°, which I have done and then left them to dry on the radiator for a day. Although the soles didn't come up completely clean, the rest of the slippers looked a lot brighter and being put in the washer didn't affect the fit of the slippers at all.

If I had to criticise these at all, the only thing wrong with them is that there is nothing to differentiate between the left and right slipper. On more (many) than one occasion I have put the slipper on the wrong foot, which I find uncomfortable as they have become moulded to the shape of my feet. So even though they look exactly the same it does matter which one you put on which foot after a while. It's not a big deal, I just try and put them the right way round when I take them off and if I do put the wrong one on it only takes a few seconds to swap them over.

I'm really pleased with these slippers and I think they will also make great Christmas presents for some of my friends.

I paid £10 for these from Office but they only seem to have size 3/4 left now.

They are available from Amazon for £12.86 - £20 depending on the size and colour. Different colours available are Cream, Black, Dusky Pink, Soft Pink, White or Lilac, in sizes 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8.

        Cosy funky cool slippers!

I was on the lookout for a nice cosy pair of slippers, and came across these fluffy pink delights which are the Bardot slippers by funky nightwear brand Bedroom Athletics. I saw the slippers on the ASOS website, but purchased them from ebay as they were cheaper. These are my most favourite slippers ever! I prefer slippers like this which are in a bootie or UGG kind of shape, as they don't slip off your feet as some other slippers can do, and they look really cool and funky as well.

They are REALLY soft material and are really comfy and cosy. There is a small zip at the front to help you fit cosily into the slippers, and there is a funky rubber logo on the zip handle which gives extra design to the boot. There is nice stitching and polka dot detail around the base of the foot which is pretty, and there is a slim ribbon design going around the top of the boot which says the brand name on it. The sole of the slipper is not hard, but seems quite hardwearing. If you like a firm hard sole on your slippers, then they're probably not suitable for you. I have had these slippers for about 6 months, and they still don't show much wear and tear, so I think they are of very good quality.

They come in other colours so you can coordinate with your usual indoor wear: cream, white, purple, brown, black, dusty pink and soft pink. I got dusty pink ones, as they looked the best! Soft pink is a lot paler.

Bedroom Athletics do other kinds of bootie slippers, but I thought these were the cutest. I have tried some cheap brands for slippers in this kind of design, but think these are much better quality and longer lasting (some other slippers I tried collapsed or went really worn-looking!).

They retail for about £20, but I bought them on ebay for about £12 at the time. If you like pink girly cosy things, then these are just the treat for your feet!
