Buy it for comfort and colour (Birkenstock Shoes)

Advantages: colourful, fun

Disadvantages: Pricey, might smell after a while

I own only 1 pair of Birkenstock. I bought the Tabora under the Papillo label. Papillo generally provides more patterns and more colours. It is the more fun version of the Birkenstock which is the original version. The good thing about Birkenstocks is that they are just useful for almost every occasion. I wore it to school everyday for about 2 years and also used it while traveling. I have admit that the quality of the slippers is very high. Once the footbed got used to the shape of my feet, i stopped having blisters.

HOwever, the cost of resoling the Birkenstocks is exorbitant. It cost almost three quarter of the price that I bought my Birkenstock at. It is good for use in a tropical country. Just keep it out of extreme sun (it melts the glue), rain (spoils the leather) and remember that sweat is absorbed into the footbed so you must deodorized it.

Summary: I love wearing it to school
