I have had my Brasher Hillwalker boots for over a year, they've been subjected to hard use including partial immersion in salt water, yet they still look as good as new. This is due to several factors; the quality of the boots, the care taken in ensuring that they're cleaned after use, and the frequent application of Brasher Conditioning Cream. At the time of purchase of my boots, I was aware that I would need to clean them regularly to look after them. The boots are made of leather, and have a Gore-Tex lining, giving a breathable, yet waterproof fabric.
