This is one of the latest additions to my growing shoe collection (although it may not be growing since I have thrown a few of the older shoes away). These are summery shoes that I will be taking with me on holiday. I didn't specifically need them as such but I was out shopping I saw them at Debenhams. I had £50 in vouchers as I get them through doing online surveys and so I thought I would have a browse. I tend to save at least £50 of the vouchers before spending them and I only use them when I really like something as there is no expiration date.
There are two colours available; the tan one shown and a white one with gold stitch work. I have to say the tan one above is not to my tastes at all and if it was a little lighter in colour I wouldn't mind so much. The white one is however gorgeous and perfect as holiday/summer shoes. I know a lot of people don't like white because it can easily get dirty and when I was growing up I was not allowed to wear white even though I so badly wanted to. But if you clean them after wearing them then they should last for a long time. I do think though they are meant for summer holidays even though they are advertised as evening shoes.
They are made from leather is one of the reasons they are so comfortable when first put on. They have a high heel at 4 inches which is slightly thicker at the top than at the base. The heel is a really light wood shade with gold bands around. These are not striking but subtle and pretty. There is a supporting platform which balances the high heels. The soles are incredibly comfortable and it feels really soft and spongy. The toe is slightly pointed but curved and open. The shoes have bands horizontally up to the ankles. There is a single band that goes vertically across and this has a v patterned gold stitch design. The sides of the shoes also have a gold stitch design. There is also a light gold zip at back of the shoes.
Now for the price, they are a very expensive £120 but minus the £50 voucher I paid £70. This is the upper limit of what I would normally pay but I really did fall in love with the shoes and they are from the new collection so I was expecting to pay full price. It is very typical of me to like the more expensive things, It may be a psychological thing but I HAD to get these.
