Clarks Doodles

Despite being pretty tight fisted when it comes to buying brand name products, my children's feet are something I won't scrimp on. Like my mother before me, I go to Clarks to get shoes for my boys, and it is there that I first saw a pair of Doodles. The shoes are made out of the sort of material that wetsuits are made of, and are therefore machine washable, wipeable and all round hard to stain, which is ideal because it means you don't need to worry about your little ones running around in mud, sand or water: just pop them (the shoes not the little one) in the washing machine when you get home and they'll be good as new. When it comes to kids feet, you can't compromise in quality. Their bones are still soft and their feet need adequate room to grow. Poorly made or tight shoes can cause long lasting or even permanent damage to children's feet. Knowing this, you can see how important well fitting shoes are, this is where Clarks comes in. I have always shopped at Clarks for my daughter's shoes. They are the only shops I know off that sell many of sizes especially for a wider foot. I have tried purchasing shoes from different stores in the past and although they look nice and are half the price of Clarks they just don't have the quality to them that Clarks provides. Doodles are a fun range from Clarks for young children aged approximately 1-6. Clarks are a global company that are well known for producing quality shoes. You just have to look on any impartial review site to know this, you would also find out they are not the cheapest, but then quality usually does come at a cost. I started buying these for my little girl when she got to infant size 4 which is the first size the range is available in. It was my great nephews 4th birthday back in April and instead of the usual toys I decided to buy him some practical presents, one of which was a pair of Doodles from Clarks. The ones I chose were the Sammy Shark variety because he loves anything to do with the sea, and these ones have a picture of a cartoon shark on the front of each shoe. They are very similar to the ones in the photograph above as they are the same navy blue colour and have a contrasting white sole.
