Clarks is a well known, trusted brand which first began in 1825.  Their stores are a familiar face on our high streets and their website is easy to navigate and use.  When I was younger my parents always used to buy my school shoes from Clarks and I buy my daughters shoes from here as well.  I realise you can buy cheaper shoes for children but I feel that good sturdy shoes which fit my children's feet properly are important. A friend once told me that if there is one item of clothing I should try to ensure I invesedt money in for my little girl it should be her shoes. She beleived that little girls in particular will probably go on to wear ill fitting 'cheap' shoes later in life (we have all done it) so in order to look after their feet while there young it is probably worth spending that bit extra. I have recently bought my daughter her first set of doodles. My son had several pairs and i truly forgot how great they are. Given british weather is very unpredictable buying sandals in May is not a fab idea when your child is so young their feet are growing quickly so they generally have the one pair of shoes at a time.
