Clarks have been selling shoes in the U.K. for 150 years. There are 1900 stockists of clarks shoes in the U.K. with 500 of these being owned by Clarks. When I was a lot younger I can remember being taken by my mum to get my sensible clarks shoes for school. Then they sold unflattering durable shoes that were not in the least bit fashionable. Now their shoes have been updated and most are very fashionable.

Clarks stock a range of mens, ladies and children's shoes. They also sell the usual shoe polish etc and have a wide selection of ladies handbags.

Doodles have been around for several years now. I buy them for my grandchildren. They are a canvas shoe with a thick durable sole and have the well known t bar front with a buckle fastening. They come in bright colourful designs and are suitable for both boys and girls. Each year they are made with different patterns on them.

They sell for £14 per pair and are a great addition to a kid's wardrobe. They are machine washable and wash very well.

It is not advisable to wear these shoes in the rain as they ar not waterproof.

They are aimed at pre school children mainly and come in sizes 4-12 with narrow to wide fittings. As with all clarks shoes the child's feet are measured to ensure the correct fit and comfort.
