I have always shopped at Clarks for my daughter's shoes. They are the only shops I know off that sell many of sizes especially for a wider foot. I have tried purchasing shoes from different stores in the past and although they look nice and are half the price of Clarks they just don't have the quality to them that Clarks provides.

On a recent trip to the Clarks store I was looking for something comfortable for my daughter to wear that was also summery. That's when I came across the molly doodles. I have purchased doodles in the passed and I was very pleased with them so I decided to get these ones.

The whole idea of doodles is that you get a hard wearing shoe that is very flexible and easy for the child to walk in. they can also be put directly into the washing machine for easy cleaning.

The description:

The doodles I decided to get were the molly the magical cat ones. They are basically mostly made out of canvas, which has lots of bright summer colours on and pictures of molly. The front of the doodles have a tough bit of rubber on which comes all the way round creating the look of a sports shoe. Although the shoes have laces you don't use these to fasten them, as the Velcro strap is all that is needed.

Due to the doodles being all different colours ranging from coral, yellow, blue, green and pink it means that they are easily worn with a variety of different coloured clothing. They look funky and cool and you can guarantee the comfort too.

The cost:

I know Clarks are a bit more expensive than general shoe stores and I would definitely pay the extra to know my daughter was comfortable. The doodles range are a little bit cheaper than the Clarks shoe range. These doodles cost me £16.00, which I was very pleased with, as I know by her last doodles, they last a long time.

Overall:

Doodles are great shoes for kids. They are excellent quality and fun and funky. They are easily cleaned and go with anything. I would definitely recommend these for girls. You can also buy doodles for boys.
