Clarks Shoes & Sandals

I must admit i had never been interested in clarkes shoes for my children. I knew that they were suppose to be good for their feet but i just thought as long as i ensure that their shoes are well fitting then whats the point. The Main thing that put me off was the price of the shoes. I like my kids to have different shoes for different outfits and i could not justify paying that amount of money every other week for a pair of shoes for them. Hurray! I've just got a free pair of Clark's shoes on my loyalty card. At last! Let me explain further. At our local Clark's shop you are given a card for each child (3 in my case) and after your tenth purchase you receive the 11th free. 10% discount these days on a loyalty card isn't bad in my opinion. I have always loved Clark's shoes. I was so proud when we had the first fitting, photo and frame done in the shop. A great little reminder to me of how relatively easy life was then. For me, Clarks is the only place to buy children shoes. All of my eldest sons shoes were bought in here when he was younger, and my second son is on his second pair of shoes from there at the moment. I have peace of mind that his feet are measured correctly and that shoes are fitted properly to. They use a 6 point check to make sure that the shoes fit your childs feet perfectly and in my experience they talk you through this as they are doing it. I went into Clarks with my sister in law and my nephew for his first pair of shoes recently. Just wanted to share what a great experience it was for all of us even though it wasn't my child! The store was lovely and child friendly with big poofs to sit on and music playing in the background. It was a weekday so quite quiet and a lady approached us after a minute or two and spoke to all of us including my 1 year old nephew who gurgled back! Clark`s is a British shoe manufacturer with a huge reputation for kids shoes especially although they do make adult shoes also. I can remember my mum and gran going on about Clarks shoes as me and my sister grew up, saying how they were the best things for kids feet and how good and long lasting the shoes were and I took all this on board. I now have very split opinions on their shoes and service now though because years down the line and I have kids of my own and have fitted them out in Clark's shoes with differing outcomes.
