Nice if you get them for a gift!

I like Clarks shoes and because their size 5 D fits me so well I always go to Clarks first when I am looking for shoes and boots. I have never really thought about buying slippers from Clarks as in the past I have found their slippers to be much more expensive than other places. I have just been buying cheap slippers from Matalan and along with slippers I have been bought for Christmas and birthdays this has kept me going.

      The slippers:
The slippers were a gift from my mum. They cost £12.99 and are available in ladies size 3 to 8; they are only available in the standard D fit.

The slippers are made of a soft artificial fur like fabric. They are brown and black patterned and look just like fur, I am really not sure what the name 'Wasp Bite' is all about. They don't look like a wasp but they do look a bit like tiger fur.

The inner sole of the slipper has memory foam so the slipper moulds to your foot. The outer sole is made from very hard rubber like material; the sole is hardwearing and not at all slippy. The slippers are quite flat, they have no back in them, hence you just slip your feet into them and away you go!

      My results:
All in all I really like these slippers, as I said before you just slip your feet into them and off you go so they are very easy to put on. I also like the hard sole of the slippers, handy if you need to go out outside to collect post etc.

The memory foam inner sole is another really good feature of these slippers. The first time I wore them I found the inner sole to be quite stiff but that's probably because it contains the memory foam. Once the slippers had been worn a few times they get a bit softer.

The slippers are warm and cosy, they are very comfortable to walk in and the sole offers ample grip so you don't slip. The size 5 slippers, just like Clark's shoes fits me fine, they are perfect in size. The slippers are not machine washable but if they do get dirty then you can clean. the sole and outer fur with a damp cloth. I have done this once already and they clean really well and look fine.

I like these slippers but I would not have paid £12.99 for them. Really in my opinion they are no better than the £3.99 slippers I usually buy in places like Matalan, TJ Hughes, etc. They are notany warmer or better wearing and I could live with or without the memory foam insole.

Lovely slippers if you get them for a gift!

There's almost nothing better than coming home after a long day of work or shopping to finally be able to get out those shoes and put some comfortable slippers on! Only then I really know I'm home and can relax finally although normally I have lots of other things to do but still it feels relaxing! These Clarks Wasp Bite Slippers are the ones I have now and love them!

      **********************************************************

I know they don't really look that stylish and they even might look a little bit tacky but I thought they were fun to have! With my shoes I always try to be classy and usual looking so I thought with slippers I can have a little bit of fun. The most important I find in slippers is that they are comfortable! Because that's the main reason I got them for. I had really big ones before that, you know the lion slippers. Although they really kept me warm they weren't the easiest ones to walk in especially while running up the stairs!

      **********************************************************

I though these ones were going to be better and maybe I still won't run up the stairs with these slippers they fit so much better and are easier to walk in. Just like my previous ones they keep me warm and give me comfort. They fabric looks and feels like good quality and that they will last for some time. Inside is a fur fabric that feels really nice. Often I see myself have to buy a new pair of slippers after a year because they got all scabby but these ones looks like they can last me for some time.

      **********************************************************

The Clarks Wasp Bite Slippers comes for a price of 13 pounds which is cheap especially for the comfort you get of them. I really enjoy them and sometimes even look forward to coming home and wearing them! Great slippers for a great price!

        A fun pair of slippers

My feet like to be cosy and toasty of an evening, so unless its unbearably hot and stuffy I like to slip in to a comfy pair of slippers to chillax and rest my tootsies. Whilst I find that my shoes can often last really well, I never find that slippers can do the same, no matter where I purchase them. This is rather a shame and means I am often buying new ones. As many of my product suggestions have been added today, I thought I would give you my thought about my pair of Clarks Wasp Bite Slippers.

My furry little Clarks Wasp Bite Slippers are a case in point when it comes to longevity when in use and although I have really found them to be very comfortable and cosy, the furry inner sole that I place my tootsies onto has flattened over time. This has to be THE one thing that really annoys me about slippers of his type. No matter how well I take care of them they still become flattened and unattractive underfoot and although no one else can see that I can. Other than that, these have so far performed rather well.

        **********************************************************
These slippers were a kitsch buy that I thought would be a bit of fun, whilst offering plenty of warmth and comfort when needed. I have no idea why they are named as they are, as the pattern does not mimic or refer to bees, but is more of an animal print. As modern homes have wooden, laminate and tiled floors, I find that having to walk on cold flooring in anything less than warm weather is an unwanted and unwelcome thing. Its something I want and need to avoid, so I buy slippers to help me with that.

As such my Clarks Wasp Bite Slippers have been a good pair of slippers to wear as they have a nice warm cushiony feel to them, that is backed up by a quality textured sole for warmth and grip. Not only that but they also have a very funky pattern to the underside of the sole, which is in a leaf and entwined hearts design. This is rather a nice detail and means that the slippers grip well and I don't feel that I will slip when wearing them.

        **********************************************************
The uppers on my slippers are the funky part that really drew me to them. Ok so they may not be to everyones tastes and they are a bit of an odd choice for me in a way, but I saw them and thought ' ooh they look nice and fluffy' and as one of my existing pairs from BHS were going a bit down hill, these were the perfect solution as a replacement for me. I paid £12.99 for these and this is an average price for a decent pair of slippers these days, although I wouldn't say they were cheap.

I have to confess that I own a number of slippers that co-ordinate with what I am wearing, sad perhaps but I like to think I have made the effort whatever the time of day or night. So these fluffy little leopard print slippers only go with certain colours and as such I have worn them with those. The fur on the top and around the slippers has in the main remained lovely and fluffy and I am rather pleased about that. Its a fur type synthetic material and the colour tones used are suited to the style of the animal themed fur.

        **********************************************************
As stated the main area on my slippers that has degraded has been the bit I place my feet in to, where the fur has flattened. It hasn't impacted on the memory foam used to fill the sole with too much although I have found that too has flattened over time a little. Other than that my slippers have remained in a reasonably good condition.

In terms of rating these I have to say they have proven to be very comfy. I feel that they look funky and feel nice when I wear them and as the only thing that has degraded has been the inner bit that touches my feet I cannot rate them with less than 4 stars. As such I would recommend them as they are easy to wear and reasonably priced too.
