Converse All Stars are timeless, comfy, and great for almost any casual occasion. The Converse shoe is loved by its loyal fan base since decades. Shoes are not waterproof though, so wear at own risk in rainy areas.

      Retro comfortable shoe to wear

I absolutely love Converse shoes, they are so comfortable and fashionable they can't go wrong. I've had several pair of Converse so decided to pick myself up a pair of original red ones as I had wanted them for so long. Although they were a bit pricey (£50) they are so worth it. They suit my kind of style of clothing and are so great for day to day wear. Everyone I know compliments me on them and they say how retro they look! One day I was out at the park with them and got the dreaded mud on them so silently screamed to myself then washed them in the washing machine when I got home. I was slightly scared that I would damage them in some way but they came up great and almost like new so I was delighted. All in all I would recommend them as they are a great stylish flat shoe to wear if you can't be bothered with heels and you can't beat the original converse! Retro and comfortable!

      Fun for youngsters

I have owned three pairs of Converse shoes over the years: one pair of these originals and two of the traditional sandshoe/plimsoll style.

I bought my orange coloured high-top Connies from a specialist shoe store when I was a student with very little money. I ummed, ahhhhed and contemplated them for nearly six months before finally giving in to what was then a skate-boarders trend.

In hindsight, perhaps bright orange wasn't the best colour to buy but being in my late teens at the time, it really was such a fun colour. And I preferred to make bold, happy statements rather than those black and grey ones more likened to the world of Goths.

I find that the Converse brand sizing runs a little small, so I have always opted for the US (and Australian) size 7 rather than my more usual size 6.5.

These high-tops are easy to lace - the laces are very long. The provided laces are good quality, I only needed to replace them once during my six years of ownership.

Being canvas, these shoes have some rigidity to them until they are fairly well worn. I always found them to be comfortable and easy to get on and to remove. Being a type of sports shoe, one might expect them to become malodorous. However as I actually never did any sport in these (nor either of my other pairs of Connies), this was never a problem. When new the shoes did have a faint smell of rubber about them, but it certainly wasn't unpleasant.

These shoes are comfortable and easy to spot clean. Some of my friends used to wash theirs in the washing machine but I preferred to spot clean them with warm soapy water.

I guess if you own and wear a pair of shoes for many years they will no doubt fall apart. However I purchased these shoes at the beginning of what I describe as my Imelda Marcos era. I did have these shoes for many years but due to eventual lack of where I donated them to a local charity. There are some shoes I have owned in the past that I would quite like to have kept throughout my adult life. However I have enough insight to realise that when my skate-boarder worshipping phase had passed, it was also time for these fabulous shoes to have a new home.

      Five Dooyoo stars from me.

Currently available from around £16, which is not too different to what I paid for them some time ago.

        Classics. Total classics

I have been buying Converse all stars for about five years now and have owned 6 pairs in all. Both high ones and low. This review is for my newest addition of high ones that I bought earlier this year.

Converse are one of the most recogonisable trainers out there and are available in many many different colours (you think of it, converse have probably made it) and you can get them from most shoe shops.

This hi version of the classic converse all star is more of an ankle boot than a trainer, and has 7 lace holes to rack side. When done up to the top, the top of the shoe sits just at my ankle bone.

The upper of these shoes are made of canvas and as I say, you can get these in a whole host of colours and designs. The sole is white rubber and then the base of the shoe is about an inch high of white rubber running all the way round. The white rubber has a blue thread through it on this particular pair.

The toe of the shoe is white rubber.

These come with white laces and this particular design has 7 holes although I only lace them up with the first 6. Call it style or something.

I find it quite hard to get my feet into these trainers when they are undone and I often have to loosen the laces almost as far as they will go to get these on. Getting then off is just as difficult and I have to untie them and loosen all the laces. You cannot just kick these off at the end of the day because they lace up to your ankles unlike the low versions.

These retail at £50 ish for the hi version but I have never paid that. Because most shoe retailers sell these, you can normally pick up a pair in any sale that is being hosted by a shoe shop so if you are not fussy about what colour you get, you could play my "Converse Roulette" game where basically when you need / want a new pair you just buy the first pair you see in your size on sale!!

Much as I love these shoes, I won't be buying the hi version again. I only ever where these with jeans, not skirts or leggings and so you don't see that they are hi tops and the 7 hole laces make these harder to get on or off than the lo version which I'm going to stick to from now.

        Gorgeous, comfortable trainers

I am one of those people who feel more comfortable wearing trainers.  I had been planning on buying a pair of Converse trainers for a while and when in Dublin for the weekend recently, I saw these and it was love at first sight!

Converse are a brand which started out in 1908 as a rubber shoe company, Converse went on to build a successful business selling shoes to nearby stores. In 1918 a successful college basketball player called Chuck Taylor joined Converse as a salesman bringing along a few ideas of his own. With some minor tweaks to their classic All Star shoe, making it more flexible and supportive, The Converse Chuck Taylor went into production and a legend was born.

I bought mine from Office, but they are available in most shoe retailers such as Office and Schuh and also most sports retailers.  There are a wide variety of styles and colours available, but I have found that the All Stars seem to be the most popular, whether the 'hi tops' or the 'low' sneakers, the hi tops being the boots style Converse and the low the more regular style trainers.

The pair I bought are turquoise and had the additional detail of a double tongue, the outer tongue having a snakeskin style print on it.  This print also appeared on a tab at the back of the shoe, which was a detail I'd not seen before on any Converse trainers.  Mine were Euro60, but they are available on the Office website for £49.99

I was a little worried that the tab on the back of the shoe might rub against my ankle and cause blisters when I first wore them, but this hasn't happened.  I was also told when I was trying on Converse trainers in JD Sports that you should always but them in a size smaller than usual, as the material has some give.  I have found the opposite to be true with the ones I bought - in fact I needed half a size bigger than I usually wear, but I am planning on wearing these with insoles so wanted the bit extra space.

I do find these trainers very comfortable.  The thicker soles provide me with some cushioning and the canvas uppers mean that the trainers can mould to the shape of my feet more easily. I do love these sneakers as they are unusual without being too 'out there' and they are very comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend these trainers, they are slightly more expensive than some, but very comfortable and stylish.

The trainers that I bought were an Office exclusive design, but similar trainers are available at any Converse stockist.  Converse are available at (amongst others) Schuh, JD Sports, USC and online retailers such as Amazon.  Check out http://www.converse.co.uk for styles or to create your own trainers. The ones I bought are available from http://www.office.co.uk/view/product/office_catalog/5,21/2503291907

My favourite trainers which are durable and look great

~*~*~ Converse All Star Trainers ~*~*~

Converse are my favourite trainers at the moment (or sneakers as the Americans would say). I have three pairs of high tops and two pairs of low top Converses. At school at lot of the 'skater' kids would wear Converses, but they have been more popular recently with all ages and social groups. I decided to buy a pair because I saw that they were popular and I also liked the style. I have arthritis in my feet which can make them swell and I found Converses to be quite wide allowing for my feel to sit in them comfortably.

          ~*~*~ Trainer Style ~*~*~

Converses are a plimsole-like trainer, with durable rubber soles. They are hard wearing and last for a very long time. I have had my Converses for over 12 months and they are still in great condition and I have worn them frequently. The best thing about Converse trainers are the designs. I have a black pair and a white pair which are quite plain but look great with everything. I also have a couple of pairs which are really colourful and in your face. As mentioned above, I have arthritis and I find Converses extremely comfortable. I do a lot of walking in them and I never find that my feet get overly hot or sweaty.

The difference between high top and low top Converses is the height of trainer, specifically where they lace up to. The low top trainers end at the ankle and the high tops go slightly up the shin. High top Converses look amazing with leggings or skinny jeans and low top Converses can be worn with nearly anything.

Converse trainers come with white laces and there is a certain way to lace up Converses (I would love to be able to explain how to do this but I don't think it would make much sense) which you can find on YouTube. Overall Converses are extremely trendy and youthful.

When it comes to cleaning my Converses I usually use a baby wipe for the rubber parts, which are around the bottom of the trainer and on the toes. I have only needed to give my white pair a good clean and I have put them in the washing machine on a 30 wash, in a pillow case, and they have come out really well and virtually looked brand new.

          ~*~*~ Price and Availability ~*~*~

You can purchase Converses from most shoe retailers, such as Schuh and Office, for around £45.00 (depending on size and styles).

          ~*~*~ My Thoughts ~*~*~

I love Converses and I am a bit obsessed with buying them. Every time I go into a shoe shop I want a new pair of Converses. I would recommend them as a comfortable, trendy trainer, which are durable and last really well. I think they are fantastic for all ages ( your never too old for Converses, my 60 year old dad even wears them) and look great with most outfits. I give this trainers 5 out of 5 Dooyoo stars.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review :o)

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

A good brand of trainers, everyone should at least have one pair.

I own several pairs of Converse All stars because they suit the style of clothing I wear, they are quite expensive but I don't mind splashing out a bit for good quality as oppose to getting knock-offs. I only buy hi-top Converse and they usually set me back around £35 to £50 for a nice looking pair. I recommend wearing them with skinny jeans as this is what they go best with in my opinion.

I am starting off with the only problem I have with Converse All stars, the soles.
A big issue I have always had with this kind of converse is the white soles and laces, they get dirty very quickly, and a lot of the time it stains so I can't even wipe it off. Although they do look great and stand out (in a good way) when the soles look clean and white, so they would be good if you're the kind of person who takes care of their trainers.
I also dislike the material and thickness of the soles, they barely bend which means they can be quite uncomfortable if you walk long distances like myself. This thick, uncomfortable material is also on a patch just above your toes, and it doesn't adjust to the size of your feet making your toes squashed unless you buy a bigger size which ends up rubbing the back of your feet. The soles also make the trainers a lot heavier than what they need to me.

Apart from this the shoes are fantastic for all occasions, I wear them everywhere and I trust them not to break on me, you get what you pay for with Converse. They are great in hot weather because the canvas material is thin enough to allow your feet to breath and in colder weather I tend to just wear them with thicker socks.

They are also very long lasting - I have a pair in my shoe cupboard I've had for nearly 4 years, obviously they look a bit tatty now but they are still fine to wear and have never broke.

Something I love about these Converses is the really long laces - it really gets on my nerves when I can't do a double knot on my trainers. And I also think the long laces make Converse look really good, I like to do a big, exaggerated knot.

There is a huge range of different colours and styles of these trainers so you will be spoiled for choice, and I would recommend them if you don't walk very long distances. I would also recommend buying a pair with black soles to avoid your Converse looking scruffy after two weeks.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

            Great all rounder!

Converse have been around for so long and I'm sure you know many people who own a pair or some people I know even have 5 pairs. They seem to be the easy option trainer for everyone these days.
They come in sizes from toddler, junior, womens up to mens sizes. You can find them in all sorts of colours and patterns, with double tongue, in band designs and special editions. How they keep coming up with more designs every year I don't know but well done! There is bound to be a few that appeal to you as well.

A lot of shoes shops sell these, Schuh and Office have a large collection in the UK with the high tops costing you around £50 -£70. You can even get leather ones with studs at £75.
A large part of that cost is of course for the name. I mean you can pick up similar canvas shoes much cheaper but without the name. To be honest, I have never tried the cheaper ones so I can't comment on their quality but as far as the Converse trainers are concerned I think they are well made as far as you can make canvas shoes to last. They will start wearing down quickly as any fabric and the rubber has started breaking on mine with the fabric ripping. But I also have to say I have had my pair for over 5 years and I wear them on average once a week. So I have made them last quite well I think.
I know people who buy new pairs every 3 months but they wear these daily. I personally have lots of different shoes I wear depending on my outfit so the Converse only come out to play every now and again now.
So depending on the amount you wear them and how well you look after them you can make them last with a bit of care. They also wash in the machine on a shoe programme, especially great with light coloured ones. They'll come out fresh and clean.

As for the fit, I find them quite narrow and also they rub my feet in places and give me little blisters, another reason why I don't wear them daily. Usually I expect after a shoe is worn in it'll be comfy and not hurting my feet any more but the Converse are still a little uncomfortable every time I wear them, which is a shame really. But maybe they are just not right for my feet. Everyone has different requirements and shape feet. Maybe I should try going for a larger size next time, it may just make the difference.

Overall I love the great colours and designs they come in and they are fun shoes. Especially for kids and kids at heart. I find them overpriced these days but then again everything is getting more expensive. If you can get them in the sale or maybe snap up a deal online then go for it, they are fun and especially for the (dry) summer months they are a fabulous trainer to have and they go with skirts, dresses, shorts alike.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

would reccomend but try a couple of sizes first before purchasing

After spending several weeks looking longingly at converses, I gave in and bought a pair in a really fashionable match with anything colour of dark navy. They fitted initially in the shop however when I tried them on at home and took a short walk in them I found they slightly pinched my little toes. Not being one to give up on shoes - especially such cool ones as these - I wore them at work, without socks and they were a much better fit.

I received many compliments ranging from people liking the style of the shoe to how practical they were. Being on my feet all day as a primary school teacher I was prepared to swap fashion for comfort but in these I have found both. The kids decided I must be cool by my choice of footwear which is an added bonus!

I would definitely recommend them to other people but would advise walking around in the shop before purchasing them as you may need to go up a size. Once worn in I am hoping to continue wearing them in the winter months with socks - although if this doesn't work I will just have a very fance pair of 'work slipper' to add to my shoe collection ...

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

These shoes are very practical and value for money.

I have brought many pairs of these in the past and I have found that these Converse are ultimately comfy. Converse are a well known and well respected brand. They have many designs and may I say that the traditional black one's have always been my favorite. For me they are very nostalgic. What is so desirable about this trainers is that they are for both the male and female gender and that they are practical. They are brilliant for a lot of sports considering they were created for basketball. You can actually wear them for pretty much any activity and you can also wear them with pretty much anything. They are also value for money. They are very practical and for the price of £40-£50 they last years. They can even get really dirty and old looking, to the point where the fabric discolors, and not fall apart. However, if it rains your in a lot of trouble because your feet get soaked through. This should be reason enough not to not wear these trainers in bad weather. Unless you have a radiator on they are very hard to dry, because the base of these shoes are very comfortable and padded. The one brilliant thing that I really like about these trainers don't just cater for genders but also for all ages, this is because these are really practical.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Everybody should have a pair

Converse have been a very popular trainer brand (or sneaker, whatever you want to call them) for a long while now, and I only joined the hype a last January with my first and only pair of white Converse low tops. You can also get the hi top version like the picture shown above, but I've never been keen on those and thought the low tops in white would go with so many more outfits.

The trainers in all colours are very versatile to wear, you can get away with wearing them with literally everything: jeans/leggings/shorts/skirts and they look great. I even know somebody that wore a pair of Converse with her prom dress... maybe that was a little extreme! They come in a very wide choice of colours and the range is always expanding with new designs and styles to fit in with current trends. Some of them have several 'tongues' (the flap on the front) which is quite good if you're looking for something different as no other trainer brands make things like that. You also have the opportunity to design your own on the Converse website at an extra cost, so you can make them unique to you and even add writing to them. I've considered doing this but haven't done yet so I can't comment on the service.

The price of Converse often varies depending on where you buy them from, as I bought mine over a year ago I think they were around £35 from Office whereas now they can cost you around £40 upwards. They are widely available from shops such as Office, Shuch (both online and in store) or the Converse website. Sometimes they can be found on offer, and of course if you have student discount that's a bonus. The Converse brand do such a wide variety of trainers for you to pick from and they're unisex, you really won't be disappointed, there is something for everyone.

My Converse are basically white canvas shoes with a rubber toe cap section and rubber (I think) soles, with the red and blue stripe around the bottom. The usual 'All Star' branding is found at the back of the shoe on the sole and also on the tongue of the shoe. I find that they look better when the laces are tied underneath the tongue of the shoe rather than over, which can be a bit fussy and time consuming to put on when you're going out.

I know you're probably thinking "How can you justify spending that much on canvas shoes? You can get them for a fiver in Primark" but the truth is, the cheaper versions really don't compare. Converse are much better quality and better made, this proved by the fact I've had mine nearly a year and a half and they're still going strong. So, despite the initial outlay and that you could probably get a cheaper pair for a fraction of the price, Converse last so much longer and are therefore worth the extra cost. In my opinion anyway!

People are always advised to go for a half size smaller in Converse than what they usually are, but as a half size smaller than mine weren't available I opted for my usual size and they fitted perfectly - so it's not always the case. At first I did get a couple of blisters from wearing them, but like a lot of new shoes they just needed wearing in. After that they were fine and have been super comfortable ever since - so comfortable I can often complete the six mile walk with the dog without my feet hurting. The soles don't tend to wear down too much and are quite durable.

I'm not sure if it's just me but I have found that my feet seem to get cold really easily in these? Compared to other trainers and shoes, if I wear them out in harsher weather, my feet definitely feel like they're going to freeze off the most in my Converse. They're probably better to be worn for the summer weather.

Overall I've been really impressed with my Converse since I've bought them, I really should get on with expanding my collection! I'd recommend them to anyone.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

              Good day to day wear.

              Introduction:

Converse trainers, have been THE brand to have for a number of years now. As with any fashion, they edged their way in, being most commonly worn by 'goths', 'emos' and 'skaters' for the first couple of seasons, before they became more mainstream, and are now worn by a wide variety of people. They show no signs of fading out of fashion at the moment, at least not this year. As the popularity has expanded, so has the range. This particular review is about the hi top version.

              Price and availability:

Many shops now sell Converse trainers, as do most show shops, online and in store, for example Office, Soletrader, as well as the online shop ASOS. Price doesn't vary hugely, you are looking at between £42-47 for a pair of these. The only way you could get them cheaper, is by buying one of the slightly less popular colours, as they are reduced more often. I managed to get a pair reduced before Christmas when ASOS did a one day sale with 25% off everything. I would recommend shopping around for internet discount codes, as I really do think that is the best way to get a pair at a bargain price.

              Actual product:

Converse trainers are primarily designer plimsoles. They have a rubber base which is quite flexible, and the rest of the trainer is made up of canvass. The sole is very flexible so very practical, but that is not to be confused with being sporty. They would not be suitable for the gym or running, as they sole is not contoured and does not give that sort of support. These trainers are however, incredibly good for running round doing chores and errands in, you can just put them on at the beginning of the day, be on your feet all day and them not be uncomfortable.

There are long laces in these trainers, and you have to undo them quite a bit to take them on and off, so they are quite time consuming to put on. They tend to be pulled quite narrowly when you wear them, but that does make them harder to pull your feet out of.

              Conclusion:

Converse trainers are fabulous every day footwear. They aren't smart, but they are no scruffier than any other form of trainers. Because their style makes them appear quite long and thin, when you are wearing them it does feel like they are unflattering. When you look at them on other people you are quite reassured as they do not look like they are feel when they are on yourself.

I would recommend hi top converse shoes as a fashionable, every day wear shoe.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

                Trainers good for daily wear

I am pretty sure that most of the teenagers have gone through at least one pair of Converse trainers in throughout school/ college/ university. I love shoes, and my bank account suffers for it. I must admit, I love Converse but I am not a big fan of the brand. I do own a pair of Converse hi tops trainers as shown in the picture.

Being a student, the main factors in choosing daily shoes are practicality and durability, which Converse trainers seem to deliver wonderfully. The pair I own are bought from Schuh; they offer 10% student discount, which is a plus for me. When I bought my pair, they are not in sale but I could never seem to be able to find the Converse I want, in the style I want, in the sale. So, I usually buy shoes with student discount.

The pair I own have white background with little hearts painted in multiple colours. The pair I bought are size 4, which fits me perfectly with socks on. They are retailed at £52 at Schuh, and I paid about £47 for a pair with student discount, which is quite reasonable for a designed pair of Converse. If you go on the website, the Converse trainers come in all manners of sizes and designs, and I believe you can even design your own. However, since I have never done it myself, I cannot say anymore on this subject.

As like any other Converse trainers, mine have a white rubber sole with light weight material with the little hearts design. I personally think the design is quite sweet, albeit looks a bit childish. They are very comfortable to wear if I am out and about. However, I do find that they do not make good running shoes. Being a student, I have a chronic problem with tardiness. So, most of the time, I woke up late and have to run to a lecture. In such days, I choose proper trainers instead of these Converse for more comfort. I think the problem is the rubber sole: it is certainly lightweight but does not really absorb the shock of running on sidewalks. Personally, I tend to have foot-ache when I run with Converse trainers.

As for the durability, they do last quite long. I have had them for several months now and they don't show much wear and tear. Although, I do not wear them daily. The problem I have is that, because the rubber sole is white, it tends to get dirty easily and I don't really care much for washing my shoes every time I got out walking in the puddles. So, my pair of Converse looks more yellow than white at the moment.

Overall, Converse hi tops are very nice pairs of trainers that will match with a variety of outfits from casual to semi-formal. My advice is that if you are looking to wear them daily and don't want to clean them frequently, go for dark shades.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. :) x

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

Off the rack or your own design. Your choice.

Converse trainers were huge when I were a lad. Mind you, there was something of a peak in interest in Basketball, and Converse were always associated with that particular sport. The Converse All-Star basketball shoe was first marketed in the US in 1917.

The Canvas and rubber blueprint has continued virtually unchanged ever since. The company failed and recovered. Today, they have the same strengths and weaknesses that they have always had. They are incredibly comfortable, seeming to fit around you than the other way around. A combination of laces up to your anke and the canvas around it, it makes quick changes on the basketball court easy.

If you don't jump, you can always use them for general poops and giggles. Because there are so many colour options available, you don't have to choose a pair that looks like all the others. Girls have discovered this particular strength, and so have a number of celebs that wear them also.

What's bad? The white rubber insets get worn quickly. The canvas picks up scuffs and other marks. The front bit is particularly prone to getting tatty. If you like ripped jeans, this is probably more attractive to you. If you want your Converse shoes to look pristine, not so good.

Converse affiliation has slipped away from Basketball, but had gained a lot in the skateboard world. You can now even design your own converse shoes, if you really, really want to be unique. This is a more expensive option, but a very cool one, and easy to do through the converse web site.

These are not cheap either. Even in the sales, you'd be lucky to find a pair under £30. Therefore, you need to ask yourself how you want them for. For serious wear or occasional use. Once you've made that decision, it's all good.

                  Advantages

                  Disadvantages

more comfortable than expected and very good value

The converse all star is a classic design of sneaker (Don't let converse hear you call them trainers or boots!). I never really fancied a pair until I was forced to get some as an usher at a friends wedding recently. His gimmick was that he always wears a black pair and that all the ushers shoudl wear a matching pair. A good talking point in the future and a great introduction into the world of converse for me.

                  ===The Sneaker===

The Converse all star has a thick rubber sole and material upper. This makes them extremely lightweight to wear and very flixible and therfore very comfortable in my opinion. The canvas material is not particulary waterproof and is quite thin so does not retain much heat on cold days.

The sneakers are laced up through eylets in the shoe. They are very adjustable as you can choose not to lace all the way to the top and select how tight you like to have them laced.

Although not my usual style I found the black sneakers to look quite good. how they looked at the wedding when matched with a suit may not be the best place to wear them, but with jeans they are a classic look.

                  ===Variations===

The converse all star comes in a wide variety of colours ranging from lurid pink, through most standard colours to patterned floral designs. I have even seen a leather version which personally i though looked horrible, but one persons disgust is anothers delight! On the converse website you can get customised versions where you can choose a name to be embroidered on the shoe and select your own colours for the material sections and sole (note that rude words are automatically rejected when designing your own shoe. I tried, but not for my own shoe)

                  ===Comfort===

Whilst the material upper section is extremely mouldable and comfortable, I did find that the sole have very little cushioning built in and doing a lot of walking in these leads to sore feet quite easily. Whilst overall they are more comfortable than I expected, I still prefer my standard skate trainers as casual shoes over these (confirmed DC shoes addict).

                  ===Price===

As there were quite a few of us trying to find these in a range of sizes, the groom whose wedding we all wore them to, let us shop for our own and reimbursed the bill. I wear a size 12 which can be quite hard to find, but eventually found a pair in soletrader for £35. My friends through various online and shops found them for prices ranging between £25 and £39. I think this is very good value as I normally spend more on a pair of trainers, and these have lasted far better than my usual choices.

                  ===Summary===

Whilst not first choice for me, they are more comfortable than expected and very good value.

                    Advantages

                    Disadvantages

Awesome shoes with great selection of colours

I have been wearing converse shoes for years, both low and high tops.

At the moment I have just the 1 pair in white, although down the years I have owned the original black, green and red to name a few.

I think the reason converse are so popular with all ages is the fact they can be worn with literally any outfit. More so they are uni sex, which makes them even more popular.

I wear my white converse shoes with jeans, tracksuit bottoms and even shorts, and they complement any outfit very well.

On average, you will pay around £30 for a standard coloured design. Any colour you can think of, converse will have for sale. There are more premium designs available, which will have more patterns on them, and at times are more rare than the standard colours. These will of course be more expensive and will set you back in the region of £45-£60. I've never owned a pair of the more expensive tastes, although I would certainly consider it as they look awesome.

The shoes are very lightweight, which makes wearing them comfortable. During the summer my feet can get quite sweaty, so wearing thin shoes certainly helps.

Although the material is quite thin and lightweight, I've always been surprised at how long they last.

I would say that on average, my converse shoes don't start to show any wear or teat until at least 3 months, however, converse shoes always look better when they look a little rough. I remember when I was younger and I bought a brand new pair, I intently got them dirty as I felt it made the shoes look more cool!

I would definitely recommend to anyone to have at least one pair of converse in their cupboard!
