The first time I saw the Croc Mammoths I thought the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. Having had them for three months, and wearing them several times a week, I still think they are probably the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. But.....as the saying goes.....looks aren't everything and beauty is only skin deep. Whether these shoes are ugly or not, I love them....let me say it again, I LOVE them. They are are, by far, the most comfortable and gorgeous shoes I have ever EVER worn.

The Mammoth Shoes cost me £26.99 from Amazon, which included postage and packaging. I didn't think this price was bad really because I know how long Crocs last. I've had my original Crocs for about five years and they still look like new despite wearing them for work five times a week!

These shoes are like the traditional Crocs, only they have a sheepskin fur lining and so they can be worn throughout the winter to keep my feet nice and warm. I have a purple pair with a white sheepskin lining, like the ones in the picture above. They do have a closed heel - which again is advantageous for winter - although there are still the holes in the top of the shoe which may be best to do without because clearly they are not completely waterproof because of that.

They are, as I've said, the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The fleece is soft, seamless and so silky and my feet just literally melt into the sheepskin and it feels like I'm wearing the world's most comfortable slippers. Because the shoes are wide and chunky, they are also so comfortable because they don't restrict the feet in any way - and so they are comfortable to wear for long periods. I was worried that the fur lining would make my feet too hot and sweaty, but in a similar way to Uggs, somehow this is prevented and my feet remain warm but not hot and sweaty.

I love these shoes!
