Pester Power ========= Last summer my daughter kept asking me to buy her some crocs and I kept refusing to buy them on the basis that they were the ugliest shoes ever, overpriced and hyped up by the Z list celebs that wore them in the magazines. Then one day we went to the garden centre and they were on special offer so I relented to pester power and got her a pair. I decided to try a pair of them on to see if they were as comfy as I'd heard they were and it was like walking on a pillow. Spurred on by more pester power, I ended up walking out of that garden centre nearly £50 poorer and with matching fuchsia pink mother and daughter crocs in the cayman ... Read the complete review

I'll be honest here when I first saw these in the shops 2 years ago I wondered why anyone would put something so ugly on their feet! Then whilst holiday'n in Spain, I was looking for anything that would make my feet comfy - as the flip flops I had so adored and would totally 'die' for pretty much did make my feet die!! I was in feet holiday hell. So I hit town and decided that if nobody I knew could see me wearing them I'd be ok. What I hadnt counted on was that once you wear these your feet are spolit for life!! It was like walking on air! They dried quick if you wore them in the pool and didnt rub all day even if you werent wearing socks - ... Read the complete review

Crocs became something of an overnight phenomenon last summer! A few celebrities were papped in these and then all of a sudden everyone was wearing them! They were originally intended as an outdoor/boating shoe because of its slip resistant sole. They first were sold in America in 2002 but they took a few years to make their way over here to the UK! They are usually manufactured in China I worked in a retailer of these over the summer and they sold like hot cakes...mainly to children though They are great for kids to wear to the beach or around the pool on holiday. They come in many different colours but I think that they would make your feet sweat ... Read the complete review

Just a brief review as I don't own a pair of Crocs and therefore can't really judge if they are good or not. But I'll never believe that a rubber shoe is any good for your feet. And what's more they cost 30 quid! For what? For the outstanding design? Well for me they're simply ugly and I will never wear anything of the kind. I just don't understand all the obsession about them. And have you seen the winter version with faux fur insole? Don't you think it's just ridiculous?! There are a lot of brands which make outstanding shoes for special comfort. Those are Birkenstock, Scholl and many, many others. There is a shop in Covent Garden which stocks a ... I work many nights, and I've got to that certain age where at a certain time of the night my feet just explode in size, I spend much of the night in agony and often am forced to kick off my shoes in anger, before moaning to all and sundry about my poor feet. A combination of two things the movie Idiocracy, and Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice (as well as the odd review) bought me into the new millennium and the craze that is Crocs! The style of footwear I'm referring too here are known as Caymen (the female version being called Mary Jane's). These ultra comfortable foam style footwear have got to be the most comfortable things I have EVER put on my feet. ... Read the complete review
