Crocs 'Nanook' - a not so ugly winter style (Crocs Cayman)

Advantages: Crocs that are smart enough for occasions and solid enough for Winter weather

Disadvantages: Only part of the fur lining can be removed for washing

These are quite simply the most comfortable pair of shoes I think I have ever owned, and icrocs seem to be answering the 'ugly' criticisms with their later styles.

The nanook style of slip on ballerina type pumps are flate that are smart enough to wear with any outfit. The heel, at just over an inch high gives a gentle lift, rather than being completely flat.

The fur lining is ultra-cosy luxury on a cold day. The moulded plastic outer is fully waterproof and has a more matt finish than traditional crocs - a look for the better, in my opinion. I also like the detail of the toe band, stamped with the crocs trade mark.

The footbed is removable and washable, but sadly the side lining is stitched to the shoe and cannot be removed - however as with all crocs products, the entire shoe is likely to be able to withstand a cool wash on a gentle cycle in the washing machine. I'll find out in time!

In summary, these are so comfortable and will serve for so many occasions that the same day as I received my first pair, having worn them all day, I ordered a new pair in a different colour. I'm completely won over by them!
