I am a site engneer on british cold wet construction sites and spend 10 hours a day in these 5-6 days a week. I have been doing this for 15 years and although I don't actually do any work ie laying bricks I walk approx 5 miles every day according to my pedometer.
These boots just last and last and the most comfortable I have had over those 15 years. They are that good I bought my own and only got half the money back from work and I feel like Igot the better deal!!!
I have been wearing them for 9 months since last November and they are concrete splattered but still ion one piece.
I find that they normally go where the laces stop and your toes begin at the sids where they meet the sole. First the sole and leather debonds then you start to get water in. This has not happened yet so I am pretty happy. They also breath pretty well and the insole is not looking too bad.
I would expect a decent pair of boots to last 18 months to 2 years and I think these will easuly hit the 2 year mark.
And thy look pretty much th best boots out there. Who wants riggers!!!!
