Advantages: pink, cute, comfortable and good quality
Disadvantages: sizing a bit hit and miss
My 3 year old is obsessed with anything "princess" related and likes to think she is one herself sometimes! There is a Disney store near my work place so from time to time I like to pop in on my way home from work and buy her a little treat as a surprise. One of the items I have got for her are these Disney Princess slippers.
They are cosy little slippers which are quite similar to what I call "grandad" slippers in that you slide your feet in but there is nothing really at the back to support or keep your feet warm. They have quite a thick spongey sole which gives my daughter lots of padding compared to a similar pair I recently bought her from asda. The sole has Disney written on it but has little prickly design on it which gives good grip for her when wearing them around our flat on wooden flooring.
The upper design is rather fluffy with a soft bright fuschia pink fur. It is detailed with a stitched on heart shaped picture of Cinderella, Ariel, Rapunzel, Snow white and Belle with glitter sequins around the edges. I think this makes these slippers ideal for any little girl who is obsessed with these characters as mine as and encourages her to actually wear her slippers around the home rather than running around barefoot!
Size wise, I actually think these slippers are rather large as my daughter currently wears a European Size 25 (sizes for kids vary so differently I don't actually know what this is in english!). The slippers don't come in set sizes and the label on these says they are European 24-26 and a UK size 7-8. Thinking these would fit easily as she is in the middle these are actually rather too large for her! However, in hindsight I wouldn't have bought her the smaller pair as they would probably be 2 sizes too small and so still not suitable. I guess a good thing is that these will last her all through winter now!
Overall these slippers are really good quality and I think they are completely worth the £9 I paid from the disney store. I got a similar pair for £5 from asda which wore down in about 5 minutes and the sole came apart, but my daughter has had these about a month and they have been excellent, comfortable (or so she nods when I ask her!) quality so I would definitely recommend!
Summary: lovely princess slippers from the disney store for little princesses!
