On arrival, the shoes looked just like on the website, pretty and well made, not flimsy like some other peep toe shoes I have bought recently. They looked like they would last me more than one summer! Upon trying them on, they felt comfortable enough, not too big and not too small and my toes did not feel squashed in at the end. This year I seem to have fallen in love with flat peep toe shoes as I think they look so nice on with jeans and leggings, which is what I seem to be living in at the moment. I saw the Elfin cross over peep flat sandals with buckle detailing on the Miss Selfridge website a couple of months ago selling for £25. Even though I do not usually tend to buy non leather shoes (these are 100% man made) I fell in love with them straight away and did not hesitate to get my debit card out and buy a pair in tan (you can also buy them in black). I bought these tan peep shoes last week when shopping on the Miss Selfridge website. I didn't actually own any tan coloured shoes and so I was after a pair this colour. These are also available in black too. I am usually a size 5 and whilst I sometimes struggle to fit into size 5 shoes from some places, I decided to purchase size 5 on this occasion as Miss Selfridge offer free returns, so I could easily exchange them for the next size up if need be. However, I did not need to as size 5 fit me perfectly.
