High on comfort - high on price (FitFlops)
Member Name: gargrave50
Advantages: Extreme comfort Disadvantages: Pricey - can be hard to get a hold of! No half sizes.
Fit Flops are marked as the flip flop with the "gym built in". They do not have a curved sole like the MBT, and I am not sure exactly where the gym is built in - however, for comfort these cannot be beaten. The toe post offered no rubbing or discomfort which can often be the case with flip flops, and appears to be made of a soft leather like substance. The design is reasonably fashionable, and they come in a good selection of colours including red, silver, mint green and pale blue. One of newer colours is a gorgeous deep rich purple, and they come in either a patent finish (around £45) or an elastic finish (around £36). They are generally stocked by footwear specialists, John Lewis and some high end sports shops e.g. Greaves Sports and Soletrader were where I found them in Glasgow. Summary: Not sure about the "fit" - comfort flop? |
