Fitflop Yoko Flower T-Post Wedge Sandals
Advantages: So comfortable
Disadvantages: Not sure if they really work
Ok, so I purchased a pair of Walkstar fit flops on the run up to my holiday last year in the hope that is I wore them all summer, I would have a rear like Beyonce by the time I hit the beach.
I paid £40 for the black gloss shoes as I felt that these would likely go best with the majority of my outfits. I read many reviews on them before i purchased them and was very intrigued by the claims that they could tone the bum and thighs using their inbuilt technology which basically supports your foot in a position which requires you to work more muscles to walk in them. I was very sceptical but I figured that anything was worth a shot.
I started wearing these the moment they arrived. They are incredibly comfortable and require no breaking in whatsoever. The toe post is soft and does not cut in at all, unlike other flip flops which can become sore after a while. After a few hours of plodding around the house in them I was staring to feel the muscles in my calfs ache slightly which convinced me that they were working. Over the next few months I wore them around the house most days and on dry days, when I was out walking the dog.
I have to admit that I don't think these really made a huge difference to the tone of my legs however they did become my favourite flip flops ever purely from a comfort point of view. Whether they work or not might still be undecided for me however i will continue to wear these because i love them anyway and if they do help to tone, then that is a bonus.
Summary: Great comfy shoes but don't expect miracles
