“ Brand: Fuzzy / Type: Slippers „
For Christmas last year I wanted some cute warm slippers from my other half. That was all I asked him for and he left it till Christmas Eve. We ended up going to our local garden centre which is like one of those large centre's that sells all sorts. And luckily for him they sold some. I have to admit they were rather cute and there was a selection of different styles. I chose the monkey ones, I just loved them.
These gorgeous soft slippers come in various different styles. There were about five different styles at our garden centre, Duck, frog, lamb, dog and monkey of course. The front of the slipper is the face of the animal and is padded up. The monkey has his large nose and smiley mouth at the tip of the padded slipper in a beige colour, ideal when you have a coal fire its surprising how much soot ends up on the floor! The monkey's maine is made from dark brown nodules which is extremely soft on your feet. It does look like a monkey and a cute one at that. I can see most soft people being attracted to a pair.
They are made of soft cozy material that keeps your feet very warm. They are slip on slippers so there is no back. I find having a back can be irritating when I am going in and out of the garden during the day so these were perfect. The underneath of the slipper is material now this is where I think their downfall is. It does have small dimples on the material to avoid slipping. But I was disappointed as I found they wore underneath quite quickly. I'm not sure if because we have wooden floors down stairs they made them wear out quickly.
Slightly annoyingly these fuzzy friends slippers come in a one fits all size. There are recommended for sizes 3 to 8. I'm rather lucking being a size 5/6 so I found they fitted perfectly but I'm unsure how they would do for the people on either end of that scale.
Well six months after buying them they started to look a little worse for wear. Unfortunately 10 months later I can no longer wear them. The underneath, as I expected fell apart. It was a shame as they were really comfortable and so cute looking too. I did get a good six months wear out of them having them on every day.
I would recommend these slippers as a novelty gift for Christmas but just don't expect them to last. They look and feel good so worth six months. And at the cost of £9.99 they don't rob the bank too much
Yesterday I turned the ripe OLD age of 23. I came down stairs to find a lovely bag of presents including one funny shaped one from our two black labradors, Ben and Bruno. I was a little confused by the shape and the fact that it was slighty hard as well as soft (I also had to question how they had managed to buy me something and wrap it so expertly ;) )
When I unwrapped them, I squealed with delight to find two Fuzzy White Sheep Slippers starring up at me, with two cute pink smiles on their faces. I was thrilled to have finally got my hand on a pair of these novelty slippers as I had had my eye on them for quite some time as I saw them in the shops, and to cap it all off I hadn't actually told anyone I wanted them so they were an extra suprise!
As they were a gift I cant comment on the price but I was told they fit up to a size 8. I'm a little dubious about this, I am a 7/8 and they only just fit so if you are a large size 8 I would try them on before buying! They are very comfy, although if you have sensitive feet they can feel a bit strange as they have polyester twisty types things inside as well as outside. They are extremely warm and easy to walk in, as they are a nice snug fit.
They are made by aroma home and are sponge clean only. They come in different designs:- Pigs, Ducks, Cows, Dogs, Monkeys and Reindeers. All are equally cute but some are more difficult to get ahold of than others. The soles have little grippy rubber nodules like most slippers to ensure you dont slide everywhere.
I am very happy with my present and I said a big "thank ewe" to the dogs for their gift! ;)
I live with my sister and our friend. My friend was the first to get a set of these "fuzzy feet" slippers off her parents for Christmas (08) She had them in the sheep design and they look fabulous! They are comically large and puffy, and look soooo comfy!
About a week after Christmas i went into a gift shop called 'Smart Ideas' in Sutton Coldfield town centre and spotted them! They have a variety of different designs, and all with the similar comical large puffy animal head. There were Rudolph ones (at a discounted price of £6.99 - but whats the point if you can only wear them for one month of the year!) There were chicks, sheep, monkeys, pigs, and others which i can't remember.
My sisters birthday was coming up so I bought the monkey's for her birthday present (it had some in-joke meaning too!) And not to be left out i bought some pigs for myself (also with in-joke meaning!)
They were £9.99 a pair and worth every penny!
Every day we walk into the house to be greeted by 2 smiling pigs, 2 smiling monkeys, and 2 smiling sheep all waiting in the landing area for us :)
I am a size 5, my sister about the same and our friend is about a size 8! They all come in one size though, so initially they are a tight fit and they end up being a perfect personal fit. Very comfy, would recommend.
Cute noveltly slippers / fits up to size 8.
