“ Brand: Aroma Home / Novelty slippers. / Type: Slippers „
As part of a Christmas present from my kids (aka from myself to me with my money!) bought me a comedy pair of Fuzzy Feet Rudolph reindeer slippers. Throughout the Christmas period I alternated between some of my super warm slippers and these warm but very different looking slippers, and I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised by these Rudolph ones.
These are one size fits all slippers, with an open back, almost mule-like but covering much more foot in general. The front of the slipper and it's main body is Rudolph the reindeer's face made out of a soft corduroy material which is nice to the touch and very festive. My kids liked the design and the novelty factor of these Christmassy slippers made them cute, plus the kids would laugh at me wearing them.
The inside of the slipper is super furry with a very thick amount of wool inside which is great for the warmth of these slippers. The slippers are very warm, apart from the heel area which isn't anywhere near as warm as my toes, buried in the depths of Rudolph's furry face.
They are some of the most heavily padded slippers I've ever worn and it's like walking on a lovely bouncy cushion, they are incredibly comfortable even after several weeks of use, which by that time I mistakenly though the padding would squash down and leave me with uncomfortable footwear. I've found these to be very comfortable to wear and over Christmas I enjoyed wearing them.
Given Christmas is well and truly over with now though, I don't think I'll be wearing these for much longer, as it will be a a bit silly to have reindeer feet in February. I'm going to put them away soon, whilst they are still in excellent condition, and get them out next December for Christmas again.
My husband told me the kid had ordered these from Amazon with his help, and they (I) paid £8 for my pair. For a really comfortable pair of warm, novelty Christmas slippers, I think that was a great buy.
Let me introduce you to my wonderfully comfy Christmas slippers. I love anything Christmas and I had to have these whilst browsing online. They cost me £10 from ebay and I love them. They are made by a company called Aroma Home who make a variety of fun gift products including Fuzzy Feet Slippers, hot water bottles, screen wipes to name but a few all with a novelty feel to them.
Rudolph face is cordoury and good quality so they are not going to drop to pieces quickly. Rudolph head is made from wool and the inside of the slippers is also wool which is nice cozy on your feet. Rudolph of course has his red nose on display on the tip of your toes and his antlers on his head and he is also showing his best christmas smile.
The slippers come in one size but because they are slip on they can be warn by shoe sizes 3-8. I am a size 7 and mine fit just right. The underneath of my slippers is not the most bouncy I have tried and my all year round slippers do put a spring in my step more than these, but they are still comfy to wear and the bottoms are also hard wearing so I can pop outside in them if I need to without worrying about my feet getting hurt in the process. Rudolph head is well padded and keeps my feet nice and snug on the cold winter nights.
4 stars for my magical reindeers slippers. If you like christmas and novelty gifts you will love these.
When I placed a rather large order with an online company just before Christmas they enclosed a free gift in the form of a pair of Fuzzy Feet Rudolph Slippers. I put them on the shoe rack thinking I'd never wear them because they looked too much like childrens slippers, but after wearing mine outside and getting them dirty I decided to give these a try as frankly it was either that or cold feet!
I can honestly say I love them and have never had such a comfortable pair of slippers. They look much better now I'm used to them and keep my feet really warm, once these wear out then I'll definitely buy another pair of Fuzzy Feet.
The bulk of the reindeer's face is made of a corduroy material which makes them hard wearing, the immense amount of padding underneath this corduroy also means they are soft and comfortable on the top of my foot.
The inside of the slipper is filled with the loose wool 'fur' that you can see in the picture above, I found this a little irritating to begin with but soon got used to the feeling of wool pile between my toes. The wool adds to the general warmth of the slippers and even though I usually have cold feet I sometimes have to push these slippers off for a while as my feet get too warm in them!
There isn't a huge amount of support for the bottoms of your feet in these slippers, this isn't a problem for me but if you like your slippers to have some structure and support for your arches then you probably won't like the feel of these for too long. I love them though because of the warmth they provide and also because of how comfortable and soft they are.
If you want a pair then be quick as Amazon have only three left, these were a limited edition for Christmas so probably won't be available now until much later in the year. These are a pair of slippers where one size really does fit all, with this pair being suitable from an adult size three up to an eight. I'm a size five and found these fit beautifully, I think the smaller your feet the warmer these will be as Rudolph's face will cover most of your foot!
These cost £8.99 from Amazon which I think is an excellent price for such a lovely and comfortable pair of slippers!
